With nvidia cards no problem at all using OpenGL, with amd card, rdna2 better than polaris cards and using Vulcan.

As a WiiU owner, I stil don't feel the need to even try those Switch games on either Switch either on this emulator at 4K 60FPS. Cool for those who care.

Mamedevs are trying to emulate every device that exists on earth. That includes obscure, hard to find hardware that may or may not cost a fortune. The scope of MAME is massive, there is no comparison to a project that only focuses on one system.

Emulators like Cemu and (i assume Yuzu) may have many options like pre-made shader compilations and graphic packs that are needed for higher resolutions. It's not easy to implement all that in a single core options menu. These complex emulators are made to be used with their own UIs. But if it's open source, it's possible.

Fairly sure that was on CEMU, the WiiU emulator.
BotW is still abysmal on Yuzu, while it can be played on over 100 fps and with several mods on CEMU.

Does the WiiU version of BoTW have Switch VR mode support? It's probably why he was only playing in a dungeon compared to open world...

I watched this on Youtube with Quest 2 in Virtual Desktop SBS mode and it works. It forms a weird oval shape picture, but the convergence seems ok and it produces a mild 3D effect. I would guess something like Captain Toad would work much better due to the color pop and perspective.

Naa. Hated all the Mario on Wii, loved 3D land. Some say Odyssey is not as good as the WiiU games.
I just care about Atlus exclusives, and Capcom and Square. If I had to get a Switch I would not buy a single Nintendo game, unless it's Galaxy 3.

I'm having trouble getting mouse look to work on the VR mode. It just sits the and vibrates in the middle of the screen. It would be nice to have a plug-in for VR gyro. It outputs SBS already, so it should work with Virtual Desktop.
