Hey guys, just installed Systemshock 2, because I never played it and heard its great and stuff.

Anyway I just installed the high res player models, but I read on wikipedia that there also is a texture mod available, called shtup_beta5.zip.

I googled it, but can't really come up with any good sources,that dudes homepage is down as well. Anyone know of any good sources to download it from? Preferably not via torrent, but just normal download.

Sure I can do that, as it's not really that ugly, but it does spice things up a bit!

I would suggest not using the Rebirth mod (higher polygon models). Most of the models alter the feel of the enemies negatively. SHTUP is awesome, however.

yeah i love shtup, it makes the game look a lot better.

I've compiled a small list of files I used to get SS2 working well on my machine, plus a few "enhancements" for those who want to try something different. Though I ran a virus scan on every single file I strongly recommend you do the same before using them.
