Hey all. Didn't see this posted so I wanted to share the upcoming specials that T-Mobile showed in their latest news release.

https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news/holiday-deals.htm

T-Mobile said:
First up, the Un-carrier is giving the gift of unlimited high-speed data for your smartphone – for the next three months – to every single one of its postpaid Simple Choice customers. But in true T-Mobile fashion, we won’t stop there. T-Mobile is also delivering special holiday gifts to Sprint, AT&T and Verizon customers starting next week – one carrier per week. Plus, T-Mobile is serving up a banquet of holiday offers, including a free tablet, $0 down $0 per month on the Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB with JUMP! On Demand, and more.

Unlimited data for three months to us plebs that don't have true unlimited? I'm on the 6 gig plan but this is nice.

Free tablet is alright but the device looks like a cheap no name tablet.

Edit: First carrier switch deal is for Sprint. Get a $200 bill credit when you switch from Sprint to T-Mobile. This includes post paid and prepaid (Boost and Virgin Mobile).

As somebody who is already on the 2 phones for $99 unlimited everything plan, I like sharing this information with friends but it does nothing for me other than potentially create more congestion.

Yeah, I have tons of friends and family that are paying $200+ for a multiple line plan. Something like this would minimize that considerably and save them a bunch of money.

If you're still not on T-Mobile, you're doing it wrong. I assume they will slow down and start to suck if they get into a position of market leadership (which is still unlikely given Verizon's war chest and network), but for now, I'm kinda liking their underdog style.

T-Mobile is the shit. I'm prepaid so I don't get all of these random Un-Carrier things but I don't care because a flat $30 per month for 5GB + Unlimited Texting with excellent service where I live = Godly

Depends on what is eligible and what isn't.

Yeah... can't find much info on this even on their website. My gal has a Nexus 5 through Jump that's almost paid off... would be a great trade-in if they just give you the S6 straight up.

I wish they gave me a deal to switch from verizon. Don't feel like paying the penalty fee and I have another year on my contract :/
They already pay the etf (up to $350) and buy out the phone (up to $600 I believe).

But the release says there will be deals for other carrier folks in weeks 2-4

I'm definitely going to switch to T-Mobile once the deals are in place as my Boost Mobile service isn't so hot and I need a service that can reach Puerto Rico so I can call my Dad. Many in my family including my Mom use T-Mobile and never have problems calling their family in PR so I have to make that switch.

On the $80 unlimited with -30 promo deal, so I'm still in love with T-Mo.

My sister just left Verizon...for SPRINT. I told her about all this awesome stuff but for some reason, in her mind, she believes Sprint's network and brand name is superior to T-Mobile.

Uhh...

I'm very interested in what kind of deals they have for customers of the other carriers. I'm currently on Verizon and was thinking of switching soon anyway so this could seal the deal for me.

I've had this plan for about 2.5 years now and have my wife on it too. Can't beat the price. I think I only went over the 100 minutes twice, but then it's only 10 cents a minute.

I just left Verizon for TMo a few weeks ago and have been pretty happy with it. I don't leave the metro area too often, so I haven't run into any places where I haven't had LTE. My data speeds aren't quite as good as they were on Verizon, but my bill also dropped by $80/mo, so the overall value proposition is miles better.

Same here. I love my N5, but getting a free S6 would be nice.

The first carrier switch promo is in.

Get a $200 bill credit when you switch from Sprint to T-Mobile. This includes post paid and prepaid (Boost and Virgin Mobile). No phone trade in required.

Sprint subscribers that switch to T-Mobile can get a $200 bill credit for each line that jumps ship. To get that credit, you’ll need to sign up for a postpaid Simple Choice plan. The offer is good for any Sprint number, including postpaid, prepaid, and those on Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, too. T-Mo also says that you don’t have to trade in a phone to get this $200 credit.

They give this stuff away because they know you won't have service. I made a huge mistake getting T-Mobile. Glad I'm with AT&T now and don't have to worry about if I will or will not have service. I mean T-Mobile sounded too good on paper, and once I got it I understood why John Legre goes out his way to make these appealing almost too good to be true offers, to entice you away from a real service provider like AT&T and Verizon. I wish they would do a better job for us people who don't live in big cities.

Totally love this plan, been on it for 2 years and I haven't had any complaints.
