I don't know what they are thinking with a two hour window. Thats not enough to make a dent.

not even close. everyone who gets breakfast food on the reg is usually AT work before 9 or right on the dot. Praying for a 7am open time. At that point though why even close? TBs here close at 4 or 5am.

They say they're serving their waffle tacos with a side of "sweet syrup". I may be outing myself as a weirdo here, I can understand syrup on pancakes and waffles, maybe sausage and bacon if they're on the same plate and come in contact, but eggs?

The Mcgriddle makes sense to me but are you supposed to dip the waffle taco in syrup? Pour it on top like salsa? Seriously, scrambled eggs with syrup, is this a thing?

The American breakfast plate is a no-man's land where any number of foods can intermingle. And yes, they all work together.

I have scrambled eggs with my pancakes.

The eggs spill over into the pancake section.

They are still delicious.

So, Taco Bell Breakfast hours seem to be 9-11 am? Or does it vary by location? Setting an alarm tomorrow morning specifically to experience this delightful clusterfuck. The waffle taco & crunchwrap look good enough for a try.

9-11 here brah. :(

That would blow if true. Was going to try it on my way to work tomorrow but I can't if it doesn't start until 9.

We've always had the Chili Cheese Burrito. Man, if they could throw in Frito's and some sc.. that would be solid. I miss you frito burrito

No more chili cheese fry loaded grillers.

ANGER!!!

But they still have the chili cheese burrito. Just won't put the chili in a griller citing a "pricing" issue.

Some personality on the radio was freaking out over how great the cinnamon balls are or whatever. Saying the icing in the balls "bursts" in your mouth haha.

had Taco Bell for...well, brunch i guess

--beef meximelt
--double decker supreme
--doritos ranch supreme
-mountain dew baja blast freeze

I ate the double decker first, it was solid. The doritos taco second-- there was a ton of doritos powder on there and it was the saltiest thing i've had in a long time...but good. The beef meximelt was not fully melted or hot. I ate it last. This thing is the best when it's hot. Taco Bell beef is earthy and crumbly when it's not hot enough and the other stuff becomes absolutely awful, texturally speaking. liquid from the pico de gallo with floating unmelted cheese particles...it was hell. i didn't finish it.

The baja blast freeze was decent, though worse than a slurpee.

overall, pretty mediocre. 8/10

8/10 is mediocre?

the hell kick51

you work for ign or something?

Three days in a row for me. Gotta get those gains brah.

For real got the steak am crunchwrap, 2 of them. ate very little tortilla. shitloads of protein. happy man.

tried a cinnabon bite shit. explosion of joy.

quesarito-taco-bell.jpg

Has anyone tried this. Is so delicious!!!

Haven't tried the chicken one yet. I like to buy a combo for dinner and leave the quesarito for breakfast. I haven't tasted unless it was reheated. I'll go for a fresh chicken maybe later today to see how much the flavor improves.

I tried the beef one, and it didn't taste anything special from their regular beef burritos. I could not distinguish the quesadilla part of it at all.

Last week I had 15 total crunchy tacos from Taco Bell and loved every bite. Not kidding, I went there 3 times and ordered 5 crunchy tacos with tomatoes each time. So fucking good and guess what? 5 of them is only 850 calories. Lots of protein, too.

Is it just me or do most items at taco bell taste very similar.

I mean lets compare the shredded chicken smothered burrito vs the shredded chicken quesarito. I don't really think they taste all that different.

That's because they use the same ingredients. They pretty much have the same item just ordered differently.

I love Taco Bell, but I dont get it as much as I used to.

Last night I got the Lionheart1827 Special: 2 Beef Chalupa Supremes and 3 Chicken Quesadillas(one in the fridge for a late night or next day snack)

So damn good.

Like Winterfang said, the menu is just a few ingredients mixed together in different ways.

You example tastes very similar because most of the ingredients for those two burritos are the same, most importantly the Creamy Chipotle sauce.

What item do you miss from the menu?

Chicken enchilada burrito by far. Shit was barely around before the seemed to drop it but damn if it wasn't the best thing I've ever had from there.

Was the Doritos Locos Taco a disappointment?

No way, love them. Especially the nacho one, so good and I don't even care for dorritos as it is.

What is the one item you'd recommend?

Out of the current menu? Double Decker, those things have been my staple since high school. Can't go wrong with a hard/soft taco with refried beans holding the two shells together.
