The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals Taiko Drum Master: Session de Dodon ga Don! for PlayStation 4. It will launch in Japan in 2017.
For the first time in the series, you can have a jam session against your friends' musical performance data. This allows users to play against friends through PlayStation Network even if they're not actually available. The usual two-player mode will also be included.
There are also sessions with popular characters called guest session performances. Before and during Doreamon's musical performance, for example, he will talk and perform various actions.
