The OP changed the title to something we already knew the real news isThey told us this would be the case years ago, how is this news all of a sudden?!?
know a bunch of people who bought a console for one game
think the xbox sold like it did because people wanted halo and dead or alive 3?
halo was enough.
RDR is their 2nd class franchise from what I've seen.Speaking of double dipping, why in the world has Rockstar never released a next-gen RDR2 version? They happily re-released GTA V 3 times.
So much time you need to dedicate to PC gaming, Wow! It's not like if you just want to play "PS5 like" games you just double click shortcuts and play, and the most wasted time is to click "install" for video driver updates and that is it.That's the right attitude; ideally, we'd all own every platform, and these debates wouldn't exist.
In my case, the problem with not having a PC isn't the cost, but the amount of time I have available for this hobby.
When I was 16-18, I had a console and a PC, but I had tons of free time to dedicate to it.
Now my time is limited, and I have to prioritize it, which is why the PlayStation 5 is the ideal choice to fill that time.
Even the way I consume video games has changed. The moment I buy GTA VI, there won't be any other game waiting in the wings; there will only be that one to play to death, just like I'm doing now with Saros.
Just check the leak data of GTA online revenue breakdown, PC is 3%
Imagine caring about spoiler in GTA stories...Is not that hard... You just have to wait 1 year offline to not be spoiled.

We don't even know if Wolverine suck or not, so it's just about blind "brand loyalty". Ok.I think you've misunderstood my reasoning.
I'm not referring to the computer being plug and play, which it isn't in many cases, and not just because of "installing a driver."
It's that I can't play so many games because of the limited time.
If I have limited time and I'm playing Saros/Wolverine, I couldn't be playing Counter-Strike or Battlefield 6, games I would normally play on PC.
FWIW the next gen versions were downgraded as hell lol. They removed so many gameplay elements it's kinda nuts.See those pics above.
And you think 20fps framerate was part of their vision as well?
We can't stop winning baby!PS5 Pro wins again
What the fuck are you talking about? The consoles need something..
There's fuck all else to play on them![]()
Sony and Microsoft are farting out shit games? What the fuck are you talking about?
You stated there's nothing to play on the consoles when there are many great games to play.Sony and Microsoft are farting out shit games?
You been asleep?
And most of those are on the PC tooYou stated there's nothing to play on the consoles when there are many great games to play.
If it was that easy, MS wouldn't be struggling to integrate a console type interface to their operating system. Most of us have, or have had, PCs as our primary gaming machines in the past. Many of us go back 30 years plus in the hobby. You really don't need to spend any time trying to convince us that PC is where we want to be, because we have or have had one and have chosen alternately. So much time you need to dedicate to PC gaming, Wow! Consoles don't have console type interface. They have PC like interfaces that you navigate with "keyboard arrows" + virtual keyboards like we can do on PC and some like the Wii and Switchs even with a "mouse". PS1 have even a cursor:If it was that easy, MS wouldn't be struggling to integrate a console type interface to their operating system. PCMR aint the answer for everyone.

But we got the port finally, the thing is i played it on the Xbox 360 so i haven't bought it...yet.6-12 months like with all GTA/RDR games before (outside of RDR1 port that took decades).
Afaik early 2027 is possible6-12 months like with all GTA/RDR games before (outside of RDR1 port that took decades).
13 mounts like RDR2 is very possible."several months"

I'm suspecting MAY 2027, 6 months after console release.Afaik early 2027 is possible
and play the superior versionIs not that hard... You just have to wait 1 year offline to not be spoiled.
I have blind faith in Insomniac, because I've loved all their titles. We don't even know if Wolverine suck or not, so it's just about blind "brand loyalty". Ok.
Same IQ and graphics for PC is bullshit.
Take-Two supported the Nintendo Switch 2 console at launch with versions of Civilization VII and later NBA 2K, PGA 2K, and WWE 2K. However, Zelnick told Game File that the publisher's focus remains on the other two console platforms.
"We want to be wherever the consumer is, and we've supported Switch 2," he said. "You can tell from what we are doing and what we're not doing that our primary console platforms remain Sony and Microsoft."
GTAV took 19 months to come to PC.6-12 months like with all GTA/RDR games before (outside of RDR1 port that took decades).

PC Poors dragging themselves down....The GTA Online revenue leak showed PC was only 3% of it. Obviously console is the priority for them.
So, should arrive approx. 5 months after the PS6 version.PS4 version took 12 months, PC version (based on that) was released 5 months after that.

They could have easily ported the PS3 version to PC but they would have missed out on all the improvements they put into the PS4 version.No.
PS4 version had to be made because console had no BC, PS4 players didn't have access to the game. PS6 will play PS5 Pro version just fine. Notice that there is no PS5 version of RDR2.

PS3 > PS4 wasn't a straight port, nor will PS5 > PS6.
