Spiritual successor to something that never released Lol.

Hopefully that game still exists, because it was by the far the most original looking thing from the early days of last generation. That'd probably be doubly true in today's console climate.

They really did, I am seriously impressed by the trailer. Too many times a dev shows off their concept art and then later releases in-game footage that completely fails to live up to it, but Tarsier actually pulled it off here. The game looks incredible.

It is. They signed a first party deal with Sony way back in 2010.

Even though this just reminds me of how sad I am that City of Metronome never materialised, I am really excited to see (and hopefully not in the too far future, play) this project. I think I still have that nice, big article that the (defunct) Swedish magazine Super Play did about City of Metronome laying around somewhere. Oh well.
