It's up to the judge. If the judge were to be super lenient, all he'd be facing is fines. Assuming he doesn't have a prior record, if he is forced to serve time, it will probably be served concurrently.

Well, its a mix of a dummy round and a blank round.

The dummy is supposed to be an inert with all explosives removed, so it looks like a live bullet when loading the gun.

However, dumbass number 1 only removed the propellant, but not the primer. They fired the gun, and the force of the primer lodged the bullet into the barrel of the gun.

Dumbass number two forgot to check the barrel before the blanks were loaded.

So, you have a blank, and a bullet stuck in the barrel of where the gas from the blank is supposed to go.

The blank went off, the gas fired the bullet already lodged in the barrel and kill Brandon Lee.

Yep. Was just gonna post this.

I think the point is that lining up twelve students and shooting blanks at all of them at the same time is different than lining up students and shooting blanks at them on twelve separate occasions.

Stuff like that.

Well, something tells me if as a teacher you feel your last resort is to mock-execute your students, the students are probably the ones that actually "run" the classroom on a daily basis.
