Great showing. I honestly think that was a 50/50 match-up. Where you happened to lose the best of 5, you may well have taken the best of 7. That said, room for improvement, obvs!

I personally wish the high level RL games would intersect somewhat with the FGC. Completely different games obviously, but from a spectator standpoint RL has so much in common with fighting game hype. I wanna see pro RL segments presented by casters without suit, shirt and tie, poverty-ing it up and cussing over some batshit skill.

You guys seem to have made a name for yourselves here going by the stream too and you guys deserve it with that game, especially towards the end. It sucked the time out went just before that last shot.

You guys blew me away though, I'm only just getting the hang of wall drags and stuff but the speed you guys were playing at was unreal to me. Really highlights the skill you need to play at this level having just come off the game too. Can't wait to see your next match in whatever tourney you enter next!

lol the game does have that same kind of community driven appeal. They are starting to have lans all over so cal. I have always kind of seen this scene kinda grow similar to the FGC.

Yeah we're getting it a bit in NorCal too.

Unfortunately the next (much bigger) tournament isn't happening until end of July. They same people host a regular smash and SF tournament, so it's tough for them to bump one of them for RL.

I still remember when you destroyed me and my son in the Gaf doubles tournament so many moons ago. Great learning experience. We need to arrange another! Not just for fun, but to help the community learn from each other.
