Tearjerking scenes in movies.

Up had me in tears way too damn early. Recently Logan's ending had me in tears specially when X23
turned that cross into an X
. I don't know why but that scene just got to me and I coudln't hold back.

Toy Story 3 -
When they accept their fate in the incinerator. I was about the perfect age to have those movies all hit hard, so that scene wrecked me.

Logan spoilers:

X-23 turning the cross at Wolverine's grave into an X

Also I haven't seen it since it came out but I remember the ending of Big Fish messed me up.

So it's not all sad...

tears of joy I've had are Interstellars docking scene and E.T.s flying escape, both of those scenes with the intense music are so cathartic.

Lord of the rings has many moments.

When bilbo has his freak out on frodo and then begins crying and saying "im sorry for everything.." and that music kicks in. Gawddd.

Gandalfs death scene

Boromirs death scene

Sam swimming out to reach frodo, and then that beautiful shot of sams hand lingering as hes drowning and frodos reaching down from the top.

Sams speech at the end of the two towers.

Basically the entire ending od return of the king.

So many of these moments become stronger on an emotional level with Howard shores brilliant soundtrack. God i wanna rewatch the triliogy now

The Return of the King.

When Aragorn tells the Hobbits that they bow to no one, followed by him and everyone else bowing to them instead.

Timed with that swelling orchestra, I was in tears~~~

The ending scenes of Everbody's Fine really hit me and my Dad hard while we were watching it. Him because he has kids, me because I want to be a Father. Great stuff.

The end of Beaches always gets me.

DID YOU EVER KNOW THAT YOU'RE MY HEEEEROOOO

When I watch movies that have made me cry in the past I'm constantly preparing myself. I'm genuinely trying to make sure I don't cry this time, but most of the time I still do.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Raphael battle scene, followed by Leo watching him in the tub.

The last quarter really messed with me.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2
No comment, no spoilers. But damn.

Peter Jackson's King Kong
One scene Kong is on the building learning that bullets from planes hurt, the next his lady friend climbs to the top to help and he's actively taking bullets so she doesnt get hurt. Selfless heroism gets me, just like :

Big Hero Six and Wreckit Ralph
Running in fire/Catching the girl while falling into a volcano.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
This whole movie got me.

The end of Requiem for a Dream hits me pretty hard too with the mom having retreated into her mind after being electroshocked into madness

The last scene of Logan had me in tears, I believe that's the first for a comic book film for me, & GOTG V2 followed after with a certain scene causing me to shed a few tears.

Also the climax of TS3 of course had me tears. Plenty more examples I could think of but those two came to mind most of all.

This shit made me bawl like a little baby. Them just giving up and accepting their fate, after all their journeys.

From one of my favorite animated movies Tangled.

In the boat with the lights scene, culminating with the end as well.
when the family reunites

That scene on the bridge in Man In Fire is probably the most emotional thing I've seen in a movie. I watched that movie in a room full of Airmen and Marines and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Forest Gump and My Girl get me every time as well.

Dog stuff
Parent kid stuff

Marley, haichi
Forrest Gump, kill bill, bridge to teribithia

I wish the dog didn't turn to zombie dog while will Smith was choking her. It was like the chest buster bursting out of Ripley's chest mid fall.

When the Wind Blows ending (ending not pictured, cause it's a spoiler)

I'm a fucking sap. So if you have a moment that's meant to be sad that's done decently. I'll at least tear up.

My Girl when Veda loses it after seeing her best friends in the casket.

Casper. The version with Christina Ricci. When he's explaining how he died.

Plus many more that I can't think of off the top of my head.

GotG 1:
"Hold my Hand, Peter"

GotG 2:
Yondu's death and the Ravager's approval of him after learning the truth.

Yeah I'm pretty easy to move emotionally, but some of the strongest examples off the top of my head.

Logan
his death until the end. Lost it when she called him Daddy and again with the cross

Inside out
bing
Fucking
Bong
Also if you have kids the montage near the end will rip you a new one

Toy Story 3
the incinerator and the farewell

- Moulin Rouge ending (even though they spoil it in the beginning of the film)

- Gladiator ending with the now we are free song

Many more already mentioned in this thread.

Recently...A Monster Calls, movie had me n the wife blubbing 😭
I cried so much at the theater. Later, I learned that
the lead actor's mother passed away shortly before shooting began (and I think the performance shows)
and cried again. Such a great, sad movie.
