I didn't hate the first one, but based on that bootleg trailer in the other thread, I'm not excited. Feels incredibly by-the-numbers.

The CGI Spidey when he shoots of in the 1st one is terrible, looks cellshaded.

Why? Most of Marvel movies are mediocre as hell. I doubt they could do any better.

Was never much into Spiderman but I really did like the first two movies of the Raimi trilogy. Third one was ruined by idiot plot and unnecessary melodrama, among other issues. Still had some great fighting choreography; for what I want Spiderman action scenes to feel like anyway.
Oh and the soundtrack was real nice, loved the main theme.
I pretty much couldn't see a singly redeeming aspect about The Amazing Spiderman movie. Plot and acting was shit in my opinion and I still don't get what people see in Emma Stone. Worse though, one would hope they could pull off some pretty sweet fighting scenes now with improved tech and what not, but nope, wasn't the case.
CGI was also absolutely terrible and looks like that'll be the same case here again. Really can't tolerate shitty CGI anymore in these AAA titles. Just watched 'The Wolverine' which had its fair amount of garbage CGI, too. :/

Well it certainly has more colours and personality than ASM which looked like cheap digital crap (dat 35mm?)

Probably because they've learnt from the mistake (I hope), to not try and make everything dark and stuff. It was kinda off-putting the more I rewatched it.

Ahhh. Good to know that Sculli is on the same hate brigade with ASM as I am.
Yeah, that's only the real positive that I can get from this movie so far (that it's being shot on film, instead of the last movie which was shot digitally, even if we no longer get native 3D).

No Marvel movie so far has reached the depths of abyssal terribleness that ASM achieved.
Oh please. If you went in expecting to hate it, you came out hating it. It wasn't amazing enough to turn those who desired more. I thought it was decently entertaining but the script needed work.

ASM wasn't great, but it was still better than most recent Marvel movies to be honest
Captain America and Iron Man 2 almost put me to sleep.
I'm like the only one who doesn't like Marvel's movies at all though so whatever. Loved ASM, can't wait for this one.

The moment I saw that publicity photo of Spider-Man wearing a fire helmet made my interest in this movie increase. The first movie was terrible, but I was actually entertained by its awfulness. This movie looks like it will up that ante.

Most Marvel films were coherent, ASM was a clusterfuck of chopped up footage.
