The speed of smartphone enhancements has just blown me away. I remember joking with friends that the HTC Evo 4G could probably build a house when it launched 4 years ago.

Oh yeah I remember being mindblown by GPS.

14 years ago I traveled to Germany, no knowing a single word of German, I gave the cab driver a card of the hotel I was staying at. He looked puzzled at the name of the hotel, then he started to mess with what I though was his radio. Suddenly, the radio display started showing arrows and distanced, and the cab driver would turn to what the arrow point at. Needless to say the entire trip my gazed was fixed at that device for an hour.

I dont think it was that model. But my first set of 5.1 speakers. Shit blew my mind when I would get content that supported it. I loved being able to set the satellites and hear stuff from the direction it was actually happening from. Fucking amazing upgrade.
