ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

I expect Samurai Warriors Chronicles 2 and Ninja Gaiden for 3DS.

SWC2 is possible... NJ not so much because they're working on 3, now.

Seriously. Did Evo freaking kill the series or what?
I know there's a Monster Farm Online out there, but no localization and strict IP blocking make it way under the radar.

Monster Rancher DS was released last year in the US.

It ranked as #8 in new release sales on the NPD chart.

I agree. Or at least release the Monster Rancher 1 on PSN as a PSone classic (but yeah... Disc swapping).

Glad that Nobunaga's Ambitions name still exist even if its a title that is an online focused game.

Damn it, why don't they release the games over here?

any chance for EU/US release?

Sadly not. They already said that they will not bring it over. I am pretty pissed about it. It's their fault for making SW3 Wii exclusive. It should not have been a surprise that it would sell even worse this way. They also have not brought over Samurai Warriors 3Z. A shame because I prefer the feudal Japan scenario to the Dynasty Warriors stuff.

so sad. i never played a SW game, it would've been even more interesting for me with the empires addendum.

If you have a 3DS, Samurai Warriors Chronicles is decent. Definitely one of the better portable Musou titles.

I really didn't like having to change characters constantly, and some of the fights seemed ridiculously difficult. I felt like I was doing something wrong most of the time.

Wait, really? I haven't seen this game anywhere.. Gonna check amazon, might have to pick it up.

3 Empires doesn't get a Wii version? I thought 3 did pretty decently. What happened with 3 Xtreme Legends/Z?

TGS 2010. Kou Shibusawa and Hayashi went onstage to announce the collaboration.

Well ok then. I only remembered the original announcement and that has been a while back.

Hayashi actually talked about Ni-Oh a few months ago

Team Ninja is also working on Ni-Oh, originally one of Koei’s titles, how is that game progressing?

We ran lots of tests and trials for Ni-Oh. After we ran through these we found a style that fits this title. At Team Ninja, we want you to experience the feel of action in our games. Ni-Oh is set with during the samurai era and we want you to feel what it’s like to be a samurai.

Are you actively designing the next Dead or Alive? You also have Ninja Gaiden and Ni-Oh on the table too.

Team Ninja grew and is quite large now. We can handle multiple projects simultaneously. The order of the titles that will be released goes something like this Ninja Gaiden 3, Ni-Oh, and Dead or Alive. But, we won’t make fans wait long for Dead or Alive!

Z did much better than XL and even surpassed the original 3, IIRC, so I guess they decided to just not bother with the Wii version anymore. Although, really, I'd argue that, for a XL version, it was underwhelming. It's pretty clear that their focus was on the PS3 and people who didn't have the game, not in the expansion itself.

It doesn't help Nintendo has pretty much abandoned the Wii though. I guess they never even tried to keep a version of the title in their system at this point.

hmm.. im starting to notice one potential for vita fade away. tecmo, developing mobile games. why not port those to vita as well? sell them for 1-5 bucks as you would for cell phones.

Ninja Gaiden 3DS went into production just some months ago, so they're working on it.

That's not what Hayashi said:

"Right now, we are concentrating on Ninja Gaiden 3. To be honest with you, Ninja Gaiden for 3DS is still in very early in development" said Hayashi.

This is what their mobile titles at TGS look like:

Yeah.

This thread reminded me that Micro Cabin hasn't made a console game in years. Warship Gunner 2 was one of my favorite Koei published PS2 games.

Micro Cabin didn't even go into mobile gaming, but went into pachinko systems instead. I feel a little bit sad about that.

Well, early development means that it's in production, or not?
anyway, it exists.

Yeah, but we shouldn't expect to see the game anytime soon. That's what Mpl90 was saying.
