Man, rightwingers are such babies. They can't take what they dish out.
uh huh. yeah, sure.
"I just found out that Democrats own guns too".
uh huh. yeah, sure.
lol whatever. No one cares about this dude anyways.
I don't know, dude - people do follow Nugent.
I work with a guy who has Ted Nugent memes in his cubicle. He's into hunting (in cool with that - it's a cultural thing for some people) - but he also is into buying lots of Guns. A lot of guys I work with live in PA and moved there so they can avoid harsh gun laws in MD. I get to occasionally see what everyone is searching for on our network; allot of guys are looking up AR-15 mods and trying to check their favorite gun blogs.
Allot of that might be just a hobby, but when you have a popular gun culture figure (Ted) spewing inflammatory shit, you know it's going to resonate with some gun bros.
Who do you work for, the NRA?
This is what stuck out to me too. Guy wants us to come together as Americans but goes the extra mile to point out that the people on the left are considered his enemies.*says he will no longer use hateful rhetoric*
*calls fellow citizens that have a differing opinion "enemies"*
Oh he's not asking himself to change. He's asking liberals.I'm a firm believer that you really can't significantly change yourself at the age of 69. He'll be back to insane rants and insults within a year.
Its so weird to me how hateful people on both sides can be. Especially when someone says they want to do the right thing. We respond with "no fuck you!" Unreal.

In fact, in the case of Nugent, we have even come to see alleged child sexual abuse as some sort of eccentricity or harmless vice. Can you imagine anyone else who had been accused of having sex with a 12-year-old, written a song about raping a 13-year-old and adopted a 17-year-old so that he could have sex with her going on to campaign alongside all the most conservative family values candidates?
Well, I dont care if youre just 13
You look too good to be true
I just know that youre probably clean...
Jailbait you look fine, fine, fine...
Its quite alright, I asked your mama
Wait a minute, officer
Dont put those handcuffs on me
Put them on her, and Ill share her with you

This is why I believe none of his statement.Notice he didn't apologize or say he will do better, just that he will be quieter
What does that have to do with anything? So how long before some "journalist" "uncovers" that Anthony Bourdain is friends with, and has interviewed Ted on more than one occasion?
He is not doing the right thing and his statement doesn't pass the smell test. Its so weird to me how hateful people on both sides can be. Especially when someone says they want to do the right thing. We respond with "no fuck you!" Unreal.
What's unreal is the nerve of that guy, saying he wants to tone it down after his decades of vileness, and without even apologizing, and with the timing of the recent attack on the GOP. It's blatantly insincere. Until he issues an heartfelt apology for his past actions and back up his words, he can fuck off for real.
Here, read this:
When Ted Nugent was 32 years old, he released the song Jailbait. Heres a taste of the lyrics (written by him):
Its so weird to me how hateful people on both sides can be. Especially when someone says they want to do the right thing. We respond with "no fuck you!" Unreal.
What does that have to do with anything?
Holy. Shit. Had no idea that was a real song.
Haha well carry on. I'll back you up as I've seen the stuff you are talking about.Oh, just calling my shot now in case someone accuses Bourdain of normalizing Nugent.
He's only saying that because his viewpoint came under literal attack.
