Morgana is great. It's unfortunate that the character gets the burden of telling you what you can and cannot do, but presumably those restrictions would have been there even if the character wasn't involved. Hard to blame Morgana for restriction the game itself puts in place.

Morgana issue isn't just with Ryuji but with the fact that he felt like the gang didn't need him anymore. This started back with Futaba's Palace during the fight with the cognitive version of her mother. He started doubting himself and felt like he lost his place within the group. You can see this in several scenes like when Futaba had to watch over him when the protagonist went to Hawaii.
He pretty much exploded when Ryuji insulted him for the final time.

Oh Morgana was better by a landslide. And thats coming from a well-documented dog person. Kept him in the party for fights all the way through the end too, unlike teddy who almost never sees combat anytime I play 4.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of Mona, to be honest. He's pretty useful in battle because of his healing skills, but as a character he's no more than a whiny piece of crap.

Teddy was pretty funny and way more interesting to me, but it may very well just be nostalgia at work, as I prefer P4 better than P5 in general.

Pretty much these two. Anyone saying "but they do the same thing!" is oversimplifying this. Teddy was a general perv AND not antagonistic. Morgana is on his super pervy whiteknight shit while also being antagonizing because he's also on some "holier than thou" shit. Morgana actively pushes himself as smarter and more important than anything and can't take it when he's called out for crap he started. Morgana is the average message board "keyboard warrior" shit poster minus the swearing.

I almost dated Ann just because it would piss him off in my head canon, but didn't because it would mean dating Ann.
