How many hours has the game been out for?

Like, I'm seeing reviews with 1.9 hours on record, haha.

I say give it at least a week to see how people have latched onto it.

It's doing well on PS4 too. I'm glad this series is circulating like this. The more platforms the better.

Very impressive considering SFV and MKX's peak.

They deserve it too for putting out a fighter that isn't a flaming trainwreck out of the gate.

For you.
For comparison, both SFV and MKX didn't manage to break 14k. This is the best launch of a fighting game on Steam.

Very covfefe reviews eh? That's good to hear, definitely interested in it, been a while since I've played any fighting game.

You say posotive, I say positive.

Good news though. Was thinking of maybe, possibly checking this out which'd be the first Tekken for some time

It deserves it. Fantastic PC version and great game.
It would be awesome if it peaked over For Honor's highest.

Is For Honor worthy of that many users or was it just hype?

Hype and brand new style of fighting. It had mixed reviews at launch due to server issues and gear balancing. Its at about 2-3k users on steam now but most play on uplay. I enjoyed the 1v1s in that game.

It reimagines fighting games in a way that's more approachable for a lot of people.

Mind, the current userbase is down quite a lot, at least by launching via Steam (you can launch via uPlay instead once you own the game, and about half the initial sales were there).

For the population on Steam overall:

Owners: 462,095 ± 19,807
Players in the last 2 weeks: 111,134 ± 9,718 (24.05%)

Geez. Some fighting games did really poorly on Steam.

Funnily enough I found it easy to get fights in this up to a few months after release. Shame, I was always hoping this would do well.

SFIV's numbers are shockingly low.

Delayed release versus console, the retail release was not Steamworks but GfW(and at the time there was still something of a market there) and the market itself has grown quite a bit since then, especially for fighting games.

I had a great experience with it on PC last night. It's a really great game so far.

Question though: are load times shit for all of you? It seems like it takes forever to load a match.

The power of being new to PC audience. And of course, Tekken is a big name. I imagine a lot of PC gamers were eager to try one of the most famous fighting games ever. SF and MK are old stuff, most of the games had a PC port.

Injustice Where Are thou?

See what happens when you put out a good game that performs well? PC gamers pay attention. Come on Warner Bros, get your shit together!

Hm, SteamDB shows a bit different numbers, for example SFV had a peak of 14,783 and MKX had a peak of 15,743.
