Tell Me About Your Ideal Breakfast

Reality: An apple and several glasses of water typically with cereal once or twice a week.

Ideal: Steak and eggs, protein overload.

I'm such a sucker for the traditional american diner breakfast. Pancake, Eggs, bacon Toast, OJ Coffee, I could eat that 5 times a week!

Sometimes I switch it up and go for a great belgian waffle though. I often judge a diner/breakfast cafe based on the quality of their beligan waffle.

You get that shit out to me soggy already? Never coming back.

Well done bacon
Scrambled eggs
Homefries
Wheat toast with butter
Coffee

If I'm eating on the run but I have time to cook:

Grilled bagel sandwich with bacon, cheese, and a fried egg.

I drink green smoothies for lunch so I keep breakfast as my calorie dense meal.

Sausages
Crisp streaky bacon
Chips
Eggs
Baked beans
Fried Slice

Maybe also a doorstop slice of farmers bread with butter/marge on if I'm feeling extra hungry. Washed down with a coke. Just got used to having the full english over the years in cafes, and played around with it until I was left with my favourite stuff. Not a great fan of mushrooms, and black puds taste nice but don't have much texture to them.

I must be doing breakfast wrong, I fucking hate it. Every morning either a cheese omelet or scrambled eggs with ham, or a cheese ham and egg sandwich. Help me actually enjoy breakfast every morning, I'm fucking tired of the same shit.

Sorry to hear it. Personally I really don't care for eggs at all these days. What about a bowl of cereal or yogurt and some fresh fruit or juice?

This is a man's breakfast. Ron Swanson would be proud ;) Add some black coffee and you are set.

Ron swanson would get rid of the orange, hashbrown, and bread.

As much as I love bacon/eggs/sausages/pancakes once in a while, that stuff's too heavy for me to ever get used to. Give me a bowl of Weeties with some fruit over it and I'm set.

Scrambled eggs with a toasted hamburger bun and slightly melted american cheese with extra egg left over to just counteract the breading. Orange juice is also supplied as a nice drink.

So I want to make an awesome breakfast using my new cast iron skilled Sunday. What should I do? A hash of some kind? A breakfast skillet?

I have a massive sweet-tooth, but never was a fan of the sweet stuff for breakfast. I'm more into (BREAKFAST PR0N INCOMING):

Some piping hot, crispy and airy Manaeesh with olive oil

Gooey and cheesy Khachapuri

And some Fool with Tahini

All rounded off with some milk tea with honey and some rose-water mixed in

Fuck it needs to be morning.

Sausage, links or patties - don't care either way
Biscuits and Gravy
Eggs, fried or scrambled - don't care either way
Hash browns
Bacon, optional but encouraged

I mean. My goodness. I wish I could have that right now.

Eggs, bacon, waffles, crĂŞpes, fruits (strawberries, bananas, kiwis, melons and more), orange juice, smoothie, milkshake, toasts, cretons, pan-fried potatoes, baked beans and croissants.

I might be forgetting a few.

I've got a new favorite breakfast. Three slices of bacon, a small blueberry muffin, and freshly sliced strawberries. So good!

lately, after my coffee, i munch on bean sprouts and carrots. o_O

i can do a breakfast sandwich on a buttermilk biscuit, but stuff just triggers my gag reflex in the morning somewhat easily.

Ideally a full Irish breakfast, but I have to watch my cholesterol intake and I'm far too lazy to actually make one, so I rarely get to eat them. I'm pretty happy with cereal, or even no breakfast at all, but if I had the choice, a full Irish or these two -

Porridge with honey. Sometimes add banana slices.

French_Toast_with_Bacon_and_Maple_Syrup.png

French toast with bacon and maple syrup. There's a tiny local restaurant which serves the most delicious version of this that I have ever tasted, and every time we go in there I get it (apart from that one time when I had the full Irish).

Godammit, my mouth is actually watering now...

Edit - Oh, and a cup of tea with a few slices of soda bread... yeah, perfect breakfast -
