I heard this game is buggy without the use of some fan-made patches. Is there a specific patch for the best performance?

The computer I am using is:

1.5 ghz Pent 4
Windows XP
768 MB RAM
9600 PRO (ATI)

Wish we would've had more time to fix the game (and redesign it, lol) Atari shit it out w/o a second thought.

One of the most bug ridden games ever made. Has performance issues on even the latest and greatest of machines.

Awesome combat, though.

While the game is (pre-patch/modded and even a little after) terribly bug ridden and the towns are quite possibly the most lifeless and boring ever, I always feel like I *have* to recommend it when talking about WRPGs just because the combat is so damned good. If someone wanted to wholesale rip it off, radial menus and all, and just focus working on the OTHER parts of the game, I wouldn't call them on it.
