Honestly, I don't think the spoiler is out of bounds. This series obviously doesn't know what the hell to do with its story or characters and there's like fifty realities and time paraddoooxxess so who gives a fuck really.
 
After reading the spoiler...
Sooooo now they can use this child to lead into the Aliens/Predator/Terminator shared universe? Or....I won't call it pandering to the current easy press climate so I am really hoping maybe the first...otherwise ...why?
 
Well they are getting their reboot wish for sure now.

I was thinking about this yesterday, once he gets the rights to Terminator back he needs to either do a future war movie OR have a fan convention just to announce that Terminator 2 is the definitive ending. Heck do a Disney Star Wars style press release and dismiss T3, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genysis as non-cannon.

Why do you guys think Cameron has any interest in the Terminator franchise?

Oh yes, I know that he lost the rights and that he will recover them. But people seem to believe that he is just waiting to get them back so he can make movies, or to "retcon" the new movies out of existence. Has he said something about the franchise? I believe he will just take the rights and sit on them, or sell them.

At this point I'd just settle for him locking the property away and ending the madness. Unfortunately I fear he'll just license it out to a studio or prodco he's friendly with and let them continue the fuckery.

Well, personally I agree with him. T3 is nowhere near the two originals, and it had those dumb goofy moments like the inflatable jubblies, and the "Talk to the hand" nonsense. But otherwise it was pretty good.

Kristanna Loken was amazing, we got to see Skynet's activation and everyone and everything going apeshit, we get to see the nuclear missiles being launched, we get to see some cool chase scenes.

Now I wonder what Cameron thinks about Salvation. Or even better, what he thinks about the Genisys trailers...
 
If that spoilers true then YES!!!! I wanna see this film - they've gone pants on head stupid instead of just 'meh' bad. Perfect!!!!

I think he may have guessed the ending though, it's the obvious set-up for a sequel after you've put all the previous films in a blender.
 
That review with the "spoiler" seems highly suspect. The review itself doesn't provide any new information you couldn't already get from the trailer. Sounds made up.
 
That spoiler sounds outrageously hilarious. Even if it's not true I'm sure the film will be entertaining in its badness.

I've also just realised that Emilia Clarke is the hot white haired girl from GoT. She looks so much prettier in that programme than from these trailers.

Lastly, if that spoiler is true and they're completely trying to rewrite the timeline altogether they should have chronicled other terminators going further back in time, successfully killing Sarah Connor and putting things in motion to ensure that Skynet happens and balancing the war in its favour.
 
I read the spoiler. Why? Because this film is going to be terrible... And the spoiler was a thing of beauty. This film will be awful. But it will be glorious...

But a huge question... Matt Smith is he meant to be the
hybrid human robot
that the reddit post speaks about? That was a spoiler for me as well...

God that spoiler. I can't believe someone thought that it would be good to do

EDIT: just seen arnie has said it's lies. Well great. I can relax now and look forward to this summer blockbuster

Maybe the real twist will be that it's a cross-franchise mash-up, Matt Smith will show up wearing a fez and he'll shut down Skynet with his Sonic Screwdriver and the hot young woman sidekick in a phone box.

Before I read the spoiler, I actually saw multiple people guessing that it was going to be the twist.

Honestly, if you think "Given all they've done, what's the next most shocking thing they can do?" the idea behind the spoiler is right at the top.
