Terrible acting / terrible scenes in movies

Is he really considered bad in that scene? I thought he put forth a brilliant piece of acting.

lol same here.

My choice would be the scene in Jurassic World where Pratt is saying he was with the Navy not the Navajos when he was talking to woman who ran the place. Something about that scene was just way off imo.

How the hell did they not do a second take of this...

They did but in the second take she was a cat:

It was a real Sophie's Choice in the editing room.

ehh it was a bit too hammy and disingenuous. i didnt buy brad pitt as the rebel bad cop guy in general and this didnt do much to convince me that he really was the personification of rage, it was too awkward

Every second of Natalie Portman in Star Wars II and III.

Agreed. Whats in the box scene is really good actually, as you see the realization slowly set in Pitt's face.

My vote goes to omanohgodohmanohgod.gif

And MK: Annihilation too bad you will die

He was not the personification of rage. He was an asshole cop against Somerset's cool, collected, by the numbers way of doing things. It made sense someone like Pitt would snap, especially someone who's so green.

Christian bale: all of the batman films when he is actually in the batman suit. Who told him to do that voice and overact in everything? Why didn't someone tell him how stupid he sounds?

Haha, that was going to be my choice.

I re-watched Dracula recently. Mercifully, his performance doesn't utterly ruin the movie, but Keanu really was horrifically miscast.

I never understood the complaints since the German dub is excellent and completely eradicates the problem in my opinion. Then I watched the original dub. Oh my...

Camp Blood.

From start to finish, every scene and bit of acting is like a school drama project. Ok, the budget was probably similar too, but I've never seen anything quite like it.

That scene was visited by the exposition fairy.

"I know we've been intimate before and you are probably acquainted with my background based on our history or at least my resume, but let me review..."

As for me: I'll echo Keanu Reeves in Dracula. Winona too while we are at it. Those "accents" and performances were terrible.

Star Wars prequels. Any number of scenes, but the "love scene" involving Padme and Anakan takes the freakin' cake.

While the scenes from Episode II would have been my choice, after a recent (well, last year) rewatch of the prequels, the worst scene for me was the one where it kept cutting between Anakin and Padme looking through a window for like 5 minutes on RotS if I remember correctly.

The scene that comes to mind straight away is when Anakin whines on about the sand getting everywhere in the prequels

Only reason it didn't was because Gary Oldman was on fucking fire that movie so it balanced out.
