Tetris DS movies

I can't see the Touch Mode one for whatever reason, but Standard Mode looks brilliant and the music is great, and now I actually understand how Push Mode works. Boo to the music on that one, though. :(

I'm really happy to see that Nintendo has put some effort into this game, instead of just releasing another version of Tetris.

It looks like they've really turned this into something special. :)

Touch mode isnt working.

But for the love of God, let me display only one item in advance, and get rid of that retarded shadow.

This is Tetris, not Barbies block building adventure.

Can anyone tell me which modes are included in the game? (and what do they consist in). And whose upport WiFi? Thanks.
Six modes. Not all are known yet. I know standard mode and push mode are playable on WFC, but I'm not sure about the rest.

So wait, the only mode you can play via wifi is push mode? Hella lame.

But still sexy enough for me to buy it. Oh bother =(

Huh?

"Up to 10 players can battle it out in Standard Mode."

I watched these a few hours ago and just wanted to come back to say I still can't stop thinking about how amazing this'll be.

Standard mode and push mode are the ONLY two online modes in the game. Including the three unrevealed modes.

Standard supports 4P multiplay online, 10P local multiplayer. Push mode is 2P (head to head) both on and offline. Touch mode (IE puzzle mode) is 1P only.

Those are the only 3 modes we know about so far. 3 more are yet to be revealed.

No, that is not true. We know that there is one Shooter mode where you start out with one block flying through the Metroid universe, and you try and build it up to a 4x4 block or more. Then you can detonate it to defeat enemies on your screen. It sounds sort of interesting. I think it was described earlier in the thread.

WOW I had absolutely no interest in picking up this game until I saw the videos.

Touch mode has really got my interest, that looks really cool how you can manipulate the blocks.

This game is going to be amazing.

Jesus, am I the only one who likes the photographic bgs and the spinning mario?

I'm surprised nobody's commented on the fucking awesome Mario remix.

You mean fucking horrible remix.

I just watched the gamespot video, like the NOA ones all I pay attention to are the spinning big sprite characters. :( All their spinning is going to hurt me in-game. :lol

Mang, what? That music was awesome.
Well you really can't hurt the Zelda theme, but the rest of the remixes were horrible. I hope they give me the option to switch to the classic Tetris GB music.

Zelda - Mission Mode is multiplayer, 2 player. Completing the objectives first.

Wow. Definitive version indeed. This will sell millions and put the DS into stratosphere.

Have you noticed how Mario moves seem to depend on how well you play?

Yes, I'm guessing that you will actually be able to "beat the game" depending on how well you do... :lol Pretty damn cool.

In regards to Video 1,

You know, in the definite version of SMB1 the background never EVER featured such a heavy grassland set.

While the scenic terrain showcased on the top screen hints at something of an official confirmation from Nintendo, coldly brushing aside whatever information previously given out on the subject and in the process, stirring up heated emotions among learned Nintendo scholars, I believe that this is at most "fanfiction" and should in no way be interpreted as the official background.

I've been playing Meteos a worrying* amount recently, and now Tetris doesn't look right :(

* Seriously, "worrying" is not an exaggeration
