OP you wouldn't emulate a car would you?

Tell that to my sim racing rig.

There was a time in the late 90s early 00s where I also enjoyed emulation because I didn't know any better.

Now I enjoy the Virtual Console or the PS1 classics on Vita, and wish some games would reach those services instead of going back to emulation.

Why?
Most official emulators on consoles are not even in the same league as PC emulators.
If I have the original game or the game is abandonware unavailable on any digital storefront, what's the problem with emulating it?

I have to admit I love emulators. I played many SNES and Genesis games back in the day when I was 12. There was no way I could afford any of them. I may have had 5 games total for the SNES. Also it was playing games with patches.

It's so much better now that you can play with the actual controllers. I have a N64 USB controller bought from Amazon. It works great.
