Well I kind of understand it. Being pregnant for 9 months then giving birth is sort of a big deal.

The average woman does it twice. Really exclusive club there.

I don't care about the rest of the thread, the highlighting should be all we talk about right now.

I mean... some people are crazy, and yeah, I'm going to troll these sites most likely the next time I get drunk. But that fucking highlighting!

edit: Okay, now I went to the website and that's the worst designed message-board like website I have ever seen in my entire life.

Arguing over who is old money? Strivers? "Not our kind, dear?" Holy fuck.

My girlfriend claims I have some deep-rooted class issues, because I find people like this grotesque.

I tend to think it's just that these people are, in fact, awful.

Definitive proof that it isn't just white teenage males who turn into assholes on the internet when given anonymity.

I sometimes visit a forum about classical music, where most of the posters are 40+, and several are in their 80s. You won't believe how much ridiculous drama there is. Imposters, people spamming hundreds of identical threads, people threatening to never ever set their feet in that forum again (and return two weeks later), snobby holier-than-thou attitudes based on which composers or performers people like, and insults everywhere. You'll get jumped instantly by a gang of rabid music teachers if you so much as mention John Cage (because he once "wrote" a piece that's all silence) or Gustavo Dudamel (because he's a young and successful conductor with big hair). Some are distinguished professors or professional musicians who see themselves as Experts, and they are seemingly physically unable to ever back down from an argument, no matter how insignificant. No subject, however refined it may seem, is spared from forum trolls.

Oh my god, this site is AMAZING.

Get off your broom and post something interesting. You're boring.

I'll get off the my broom if you pull your 's out of your ass. I'm far from boring and have had many most popular posts. Just accept you are more Facebook than urban baby and post your precious moments stories where they will be welcomed and appreciated.

Reading through the site - this is 4chan for middle age upper class moms minus the self awareness. I should have known of this magical place like yesterday.

This makes sense as to why everyone in my family wanted to "give" my wife and I a bit of info about raising kids right before our kid was born. Hell I don't think I am ever going to act like an elitist with my kid, I am just going to try to not fuck him up. haha

All forums are pretty much the same in my experience.
I read Kingpin (highly recommended by the way) and big part of it is a long con the FBI ran on an illegal forum that sold stolen credit card numbers, and man, just like GAF, just like everywhere.
The only thing that cause differences is the moderation.

Loved it.

Also, are Coach bags not good, because if so I'm going to have to tell my girlfriend she's nocd.

It's a well made brand of bags, but their bags are frequently counterfeited and too many "poors" have them for a certain segment of the population, especially the unhappy, "measures other people by the label on their underwear" segment.

I troll the trip advisor forum for Las Vegas because I go there frequently(i.e. I have a gambling problem). Most of the posters on that forum are 50+ and/or retirees. Some of the meanest people I've dealt with on a forum.

I fucking love how every conceivable community, no matter how pampered or privileged, has their own way of getting catty and RAW AS FUCK.

This sort of reminds me of this mom site my ex used to visit, Baby Center. A forum 90% populated by moms and they had all the hallmarks of any fucking dork forum I've ever been on and I've been an internet dork for a long-assed time. They had memes that they used all the time, slang that nobody who wasn't deep into the community would get, all the shit we have here.

It really pushed me into the idea that you can be a nerd about ANYTHING. These women are nerding the fuck out about handbags and shit. That's awesome.

After stealing the title of World's Best Mom during a League of Legends match, OnettHansen became the worlds most snobbiest mom to exist.

Ever.

What's wrong with that?

Thats why there's saggy jeans, when I'm paying 20$ a pair for my am eagles you're staring at them. don't confuse fashion with this threads nonsense and handbags

Never heard of this. Amazing. Their own acronyms and stuff too, so cute! Holy shit the popular threads are both judge men, and judge women based on where they work/are from. The some cheating one and a circumcision one. Amazing forum.

So who starts a thread on classy videogames?

Maybe I was reading it wrong, but they were mostly talking about a crazy old grandparent? And seriously, Coach just isn't classy.

Truth. The wealthiest people I know (and they are hella wealthy, like billions of dollars) drive a Prius. I guess when you are that wealthy you have nothing to prove.

What's wrong with labels? Nothing. Certain brands have become ubiquitous with high fashion for a reason (brand caché + a history of making high quality, industry defining goods).

There is something wrong with people who measure other people based merely on the brands someone does or does not decide to wear. How that line of thinking ever survives past high school for supposedly worldly, college educated grown men and women is beyond me. And any "me against them" mentality only serves to make you less happy, especially for something as superficial as a name.

Thank you internet. Now I have Tiger Mom's in my vocabulary.

Indian

Ok now I am curious too. can we know why?

My first nanny job was for an Indian family. The grandfather told me that I'm wasting my time as a nanny and working with children. He also told me that I should go back to school and find a real career that will pay me real money. He was telling me all this while I was holding his two month old grandson. I have plenty of stories of them talking down to me, and I didn't want to assume that a whole race are assholes like this family. But, I haven't met a nice Indian person so far. [ Reply | More
