Just wait until you see Errani blow Serena Williams off the court...

Lulz

Though on the off chance Serena does lose I will be very sad. I really can't stand watching Tennis unless Serena is in the running. Kinda like how I never watch golf unless Tiger is doing well.

This match highlights the WTA for what it is right now. Double faults, unforced errors, excessive grunting, horrible ball tosses and an unenthusiastic crowd.

Hopefully Azarenka prevails.

Super Saturday tomorrow. Kind of low profile line-up though compared to last year. The Federer-Djokovic semi felt almost like a tradition.

Even if he wins the title he won't be #1 on Monday.

He would still need to win a few more tournaments and have Federer lose a few.

If Djokovic wins the US Open again, it will probably be pretty easy for him to get back #1 for the end of the year. If he wins, there will be only a 535 point gap between him and Fed. Fed will have 3000 points to the defend for the rest of the year (Basel, Paris, and the finals) and Djokovic only 560, from the same tournaments. Even if Federer defends all those titles, making up that 535 point gap wouldn't be too hard with a small push to do a round or two better than Djokovic did last year. Also neither of them played Shanghai which is a potential 1k points too, if they play this year =O

LOLOLOL commentators on CBS just ripping the grunters and screeches. Saying that them claiming that they cannot unlearn it is bullshit.

Showing video of practice and BOTH of them not doing it. Pretty much proving they are lying hacks about it.

ROFL then ripping on republicans. I like these guys.

These two players define baseline grinding. 6 net points in 72 points, with zero deliberate net approaches (only stepping into the service box to kill the short ball).

I think Fed has to play Shanghai since he skipped Montreal.
Djokovic didn't win any title between Miami and Montreal so it felt like a long drought and that he doesn't deserve #1 in the race, but he reached at least semis in every tournament except Madrid in that period. and if he wins USO he will have won 2 majors.

I hope Berdych or Murray take it though.

edit: holly crap Sharapova stalling between 1st and 2nd serve only to double fault.

is sharapova the biggest headcase of the top players? i often see her going from great to utter shit in matches.
I would say Sam Stosur. Not as much nowadays, where she's more steady but her chokes in the past were legendary. Explains why she has only 3 titles to her name.
