So close. It was a difference of one error. Got real interesting at the end. Berdych could have won the fifth in that form, a shame he let himself go for a couple of sets. The conditions are worst than at my local club though, the planes sounded like Kowloon City with the old HK airport.

Really don't understand why gaf hates Murray so much, like Fed would have automatically won this semi if not for Berdych.

No that would be Serena.

Murray is worse than Serena. Whenever an opponent hits a winner on him Murray screams profanity and then starts to pretend that he is injured. Holding his back, grabbing his toes, grimacing etc. How can anyone like him when he is screaming like this every time he loses a point or hits an error?

Not an issue for me. Bullshit injury breaks and gamesmanship piss me off much more than some screaming or sulking.

Much better to scream after a point than during one (see: women's tennis). He has a fiery streak, which is typical of a Scotsman, and there's nothing wrong with that. No problem with showing your emotions.

Yes there is no problem with screaming profanity in front of the millions of little kids watching.

His awful on court behavior for one? Probably the worst behavior for any tennis player worth something, that's not hard to understand

The worst demeanour, perhaps. And I don't think he feigns injuries any more or less than the other top mens players. Djokovic was criticised for it a lot but he doesn't get the same levels of hate as Murray does.

That's what has warmed to to Murray, he just doesn't give a fuck about what people want him to act like, and be like. He's a grouchy Scot with a negative body language on court. So what? Deal with it. In interviews he seems like a nice guy and even just now he cracked a self depreciating joke about being from Scotland. I bet he's probably one of the nicest guys on the tour.

Indeed, he seems like a nice guy in my opinion.

So what if he gets emotional on the court?

Plus, Murray is ugly!
Ugly? Really?

Some of his facial expressions may not be flattering, but you seriously consider the guy ugly?

People really do hate the guy for the stupidest reasons it would seem.

Kids watch football (soccer). That's far worse.

Totally agree.

There was no way they were about to let Djokovic lose because of wind and mess up their dream final Murray vs Djokovic.

No doubt Djokovic is going to come out and steamroll Ferrer under normal conditions tomorrow. I felt sorry for him because that was probably his golden opportunity to make a slam final.

Ugh, fucking rain. I was excited to finally be able to relax and watch a full match this afternoon. Didn't happen, of course.
