hopefully they have enough time to print him on the front page of the newspapers.
I better take all my money out the bank before it collapses...again.
lol I'm never aware there's so many Brits around here until one wins something and all the achievements in the last 2 centuries are brought up.
Best league in the world.

Nah, he'll get moremurray should enjoy this while he can, because it should hopefully be the only one he will get
Did I see Sean Connery and Alex Ferguson in Murray's corner?
Is Murray ever happy?

It's too late. They're still covering the last Olympic parade.

Up until Wimbledon it wasn't that great, he had won only Brisbane on hard courts and was useless on clay, lost 1st round at Queens as the defending champion. So I would say he's had a great summer, but not full season (though obviously it is the greatest season of his career). He looked like he was in genuine shock, wasn't even sure how to react - when there was that shot of him holding the trophy with tears in his eyes.
So happy for him though, been a long time coming and I always thought that he'd do it sooner rather than later after the Olympics win.
What a year he's had!

I think he now overtakes Nadal as no. 3I assume this doesn't do anything to the rankings?

OUR CROWNING GLORY HAS ARRIVED
Connery was just in the crowd. Ferguson was sat with Murray's family and coaches. Plus Simon Fuller was sat with Judy again. Are they going out?

No one reads the Guardian. The stupid offends our refined British eyeballs
5 Live just said Nadal drops down to 4th.
Don't forget Twinings.
Tsonga won't do it as unlike Murray he doesn't believe he can do it.Novak lost to the champion at Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. He is the man to beat right now for sure if you want a grand slam. He slipped up this year in the big matches which is unfortunate but I guess that made up for him winning everything last year.
I would love to see Tsonga put together a slam win now. That would be amazing![]()
It takes terrible tennis + wind + lack of rest + bleeding on both legs (knees) from Djokovic for Murray to win a slam in 5 sets.

They're so predictable. They must be fuming that 'Mugray' won a slam lol. Some seriously salty people on MTF:

Sir Andy Murray right?

And yeah, Djokovic is #1 in the race by a healthy margin. It will be hard for Federer to finish as YE#1.
Twinings is great and I'm gonna let you finish, but... Next time you go shopping give Clipper a try.
Edit: You're in Spain! Create a demand for Clipper tea, then go shopping, then try it!
Yeah, but Fed basically won everything after the USO last year.novak just lost a lot more points than federer though.

Haha yeah, definitely so. It's just funny. I hope it does sink in though, it's winning these slams that really gets into the heads of the non-Nadal/Fed players and gets them going. I mean look at Novak. They're all great players, they just need the extra push. It would be nice to see a diverse year continue on, despite what GAF thinks. He looked like he was in genuine shock, wasn't even sure how to react - when there was that shot of him holding the trophy with tears in his eyes.

Why do so many people hate on Andy Murray? He's easily my favorite non-US player.
So, what does the result of the US Open mean in the End Year no. 1 race? Can someone educate me?
