I'm saying that the "Best Editing" award usually goes to the movie with "Most Editing", like, say, a David Fincher movie.

If you change most of the awards from "Best" to "Most", you'd be pretty accurate. Most Costume Design, Most Art Direction, Most Acting, etc.

I don't understand the criteria for it. I've done a fair amount of video editing, and it's backbreaking work due to the volume of content you go through.
