Do explain, please.
I know this was directed at dock but I want to chime in and ask for my own advice.
I have had a lot of luck with my 8bitdo playing -MOST- games. The trouble is some of my favorite games (Contra, Super-C, Contra III The Alien Wars, and Contra Hard Corps) suck.
Here is the reason.
Diagonals suck. I am always having diagonals register incorrectly with my SNES 30 8bitdo.
I am not a huge fighting game player on pads but I can only imagine the frustration involved trying to get proper inputs for a Street Fighter style game.
What I want to know is, are we limited to DualShock 4 for a wireless pad that has a good d-pad?
The SNES style is great but the iBuffalo SNES pad is kinda cheap and wired. Sure it's pretty good, but not great. It's seemingly the only option.
The real kicker here is I own the very sought after USB Saturn 6-button controller (I have 2) but its wired and not THAT much more reliable with diagonal inputs.
I thought this pad was supposed to be Jesus. It isn't.
I don't really have a way to test an original SNES pad but is this just the name of the game with older controllers? What is the best d-pad for accurate directionals? At this point my DualShock 4 kicks a lot of ass but it doesn't come CLOSE to the feel of the 8bitdo and other dedicated d-pad choices.
