Dunno i only know that runaway 2 is coming to ds and runaway to wii ^^

I´m playing the (german) DS version right now. Very very nicely done.
I just filled the robodog with whiskey to get rid of the lemur
Hilarious video scene in surprisingly good quality.

Wow, you forget how many games are in development until you see them listed like that. Adventure gaming isn't dead, never was, it's just not big business. At least not anywhere outside of Europe.

I'm hoping digital distribution gives adventure gaming a real shot in the arm... seems to have worked for Telltale.

I hope we can see the new Ron Gilbert game this year.
He is thinking about going back to lucas arts for a monkey island sequel, but some days ago... he got a publisher for his new RPG-Adventure Game. :D

Well, Adventure Games are still very popular in europe. We have a really big fan community which is creating many adventures based on old series. But we having a lot of small developers too, who are creating one adventure after another. Sometimes really good ones and sometimes bad ones. ;)

So i guess, most of the adventuers which are coming out are made in germany ^^ That explains why a lot of the homepages are only in german or in both (german and english) languages.

I like a both: realistic styles (Silent Hill, Indigo Prophecy) and cartoony styles (Leisure Suit Larry, Monkey Island;etc.)

But the screenshots for that game don't look appealing. I'll give the demo a swirl some time.

Yeah, I think this game may have originally been an amateur game that got picked up and turned into a commercial product. It uses a freeware adventure game engine ("Wintermute" I think) so graphics aren't really going to be state-of-the-art. It has some neat ideas though, judging from the demo, although it's not ground-breaking.

For $20 I may pick it up, since it appears that the game actually has been released. Despite the fact that I haven't seen it at Best Buy, Target, or Wal-Mart and Amazon doesn't even have it in-stock, I saw two copies yesterday at Circuit City. How's that for a release? When even Amazon doesn't have your game in-stock, it's not much of a release. Unless of course, it's just that popular, which I kind of doubt. :lol

Culpa Innata is now on Steam for $17.95.

I recommend it despite what I said about voice acting as it is really quite good (and I'd like to see a ton more adventures on Steam).
