I was watching jeffs ranking nes Series and then the game over song for bayou, Billy came on and it triggered me like I've heard that song before, but I never played bayou, Billy. So I was hoping gaffes can help me figure out Where i've heard that song

I have two clues of what it might be a YouTube intro
s it possible Konami use it as a stage clear theme because it doesn't sound like a game over theme to me

Any idea of even what type of media you heard it in? Did you hear it on a YouTube video, in another game, on a VGM vinyl…?

It's a pretty generic little tune, reminiscent of a lot of NES stingers. I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you unless you're a bit more specific.

Had that game. Not a great game but it had variety. Hard as fuck. Pretty sure I never beat it. But watching speed runs you can get far and beat the game moving around and solely doing jump kicks. I played it more traditional trying to punch and kick etc...

For all you guys who don't now, Bayou Billy wasn't supposed to be this hard. In Japan it was originally called Mad City and had reasonable difficulty. When the game came west its difficulty was sadistically jacked up and renamed The Adventures of Bayou Billy.
