Can't say I'm totally into the gritty style or the "Peter's Parents" storyline, but anything is better than Spiderman 3. Anything. Seriously, have Spiderman and Lizard discussing the stock exchange over a glass of scotch. Anything will do just fine.

Pretty sure they are:

What I mean by explain is more than just a scene with him working on them like you show.

Wow, nice appealing to your core audience there Sony!
This show probably appeals to teens and teenyboppers, this new spider-man is taking us back to a highschool, hip, young, skateboarding, Peter and will probably keep us in highschool as long as possible because everyone knows spider-mans best year(s) were in highschool.
Man bullies suck yo, I can relate to that.

Playing Basketball
Awesome, yet another nod to the Ultimate Comics. That was a classic scene, can't wait to see it.

PS. that one's not really a spoiler now that I remember, one of the first released pics of Peter was him leaping over a guys shoulder with a bball in-hand.

Still couldn't be any less interested in this. I'm really curious to see how it fares. It's Spidey, so it won't bomb, but its hard to guess how well it will do.

are there site's who are predicting how this will do at the box office?

could this be sony's first 1 billion movie?

None are predicting that.

At most BO mojo is saying 900 million tops.

that to bad, sony are due a billion dollar movie.

spiderman is their only franchise who could get any where close.

really hope this movie does well i loved the last trailer.

Spiderman should do at least 300 million in the states.

worldwide the number should get close to 900. China is a much bigger market right now than it was during spiderman 2 and 3.

that could have an effect if this movie can get that markets attention.

Those domestic figures seem really low. What are their predictions based on?
Based on reboot, SM3 and whole lot of other things. BO will have an impact in domestic if the earlier film in franchise wasnt good, international audiences dont seem to care.

Too lazy to dig up the articles right now.

You gotta figure domestic numbers are going to be down, too, because this thing has roughly 2 weeks to make it's money before Bats comes and shuts it down, basically.

I'm really pumped. In basically a one month span I'm going to get Prometheus, Spiderman and Dark Knight Rises. PLUS, if i can swing it, Rock of Ages will even be in there.

Gonna be a WAY better summer than last year.

I can't believe how much footage they continue to keep showing before the movie is even out. Can't think of any other flick that's had so much footage overkill before it actually hit the theaters.

Spider-man 3 is probably the all-time champ of that.

And yet none of us knew what we were actually in for.

Doesn't China lubb Spider man or is that Japan?
Spider-Man grosses in Japan flat out embarrass other superhero films.

Spider-Man 1: $56,226,136
Spider-Man 2: $59,587,229
Spider-Man 3: $58,320,289
Iron Man: $8,658,784
Iron Man 2: $12,831,962
The Dark Knight: $14,574,849
Thor: $5,737,436

Hindsight really is everything. You can get a good idea of what kind of hellish mess it'd be from the final trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiWUlKBJtxs

The newscaster is the fucking worst thing.
