Yeah but they used to get it from elsewhere and introduce it into phones, that always showed interesting lateral thinking. Now they're just copying their direct competition.

Transformers films are pure garbage cinematic wise but they look nice on the big screen, so there fore sold billions worth.

Same for apple products. People that are buying their phones and tablets are either 1 of 2 people.

1. They are apple brand loyal customer, so someone who buy's mostly apple products.

2. Want to get in on mobile, easy to use UI wise products.

People who want more control go with Android and the likes.

Apple will always sell I never denied that, but their days of creating something that changes the industry are over. Your honestly going to tell me the Cylinder aka Mac Pro has lit the production world on fire? Your telling me that the streamlined version of Final Cut has made a huge impact among Production/designer's? Because the general consensus is it made them use Adobe.

Reason I say this is I work in TV and work with the advertising/production house.

It's funny you mentioning this because I use both Premiere and Final Cut X at work, but the latter mainly for the plugins we have for it for text and whatnot.

Touch hold and Pressure touch are radically different in their implementation. It's like the difference between an Elephant and an Elephant Seal.

In games you often don't have time to wait for the hold. Also the sensor allows for multiple levels of input. It will be a big deal.

Well, tell me the differences between what the 3DS/Vita haven't already showed me when comparing to this new pressure 3D touch Apple technology.

Relevant to the industry mean's adding something meaningful to it, expanding it.

In the past 3 years all they've done is make smaller version of the ipad, ipod. Make updates to their os adding more App like features and taking away pro features for advanced users.

They have been trying to streamline everyone of their products, and if anything all it's doing is making people go elsewhere.
