The Battlefield 1943 (XBLA/PC/PSN) Official Thread

How do I know if I have a trial or a full game ? I mean I downloaded the full game patch first from PSN store than the trial. But I didn't pay any money at any point and yet I'm able to play it and I can earn trophies and it doesn't say trial in anywhere. So did I just got the game for free or what ?

Well I know I didn't have money on my wallet but how can I check out the auto billing option ? Last time when I bought Flower from PSN I had to add money to my wallet but this time it didn't ask anything just started downloading.

you should get an email notification (the one tied to your PSN account) every time you make a purchase, whether or not funds were added. I think you can also just check the transaction history (not download list) from your PS3 too.

Check your bank account to see if they have taken any money.

If not, lucky bastard lol

The trial is just the full game with a 30 minute online limit.

I think the problem is that after every match you don't have a chance to leave the game. So you end up waiting for the next round to begin, then people bail. If 6 people left at the start of a round, things could get really messed up.
 
I have the demo but get the failed to connect online error. What is the demo workaround for this? I had read somewhere to download the Facebreaker demo, but I do not see it on marketplace anymore. If someone could also update the OP w/ that info, that would be helpful.
 
Start a squad prior to game then we attempt to join game but I'm the only one out of the 4 that can't join. WTF is this shit!?!
Looks like it's Lone Wolf for me.

Have them reinvite you and try again from the home screen.

I just listened to some Citizen Cope on my Ipod....
 
Tried to team up with ChackanKun last night. It put us on opposite teams even after I accepted his invite.

It's depressing when you want to team up with a GAF member and instead they blow up your tank from behind as you are rolling into their base or you are forced to shoot a rifle grenade into their bunker :lol

The game is alot of fun, spawn camping in Guadalcanal had me fired up last night.

Yeah we tried it. It was only me that couldn't hook up. We made about 50 attempts to get me in. No luck. Hope it was just last night as this was not an issue the 2 nights before. =/
Yeah CC is the man. Too bad the world will never know.
 
I'm burnt out with the game. I want to get %100 and leave the game alone. Is there a way to see how many games i've played ? I've only got one trophy left and i would want to get it if i am at 95 game or something.

Thanks to the guy who suggested the boat sniping position. I guess I got lucky because the other team held the base right next to it nearly the entire game, so I had fresh meat popping up constantly. It was all going great until some dumbass from my team also got in the boat and started firing fucking ROCKETS from it. :lol

Around 12 hours. I'm not a big online gamer (except mmorpgs). 12 hours for an online shooter is pretty much a record for me.

Guadalcanal is awesome. Wake Island is by far the worst map
at least until Coral Sea
, you just go around and around in circles.

Well, you can cut via sea. I always use boats to move from one end to the other. I actually like Wake Island quite a bit. Other two maps are kinda too straightforward, especially Iwo-Jima.

I hated Wake Island at first but using the boats to get between the 2 tips of the island has made it much much better. Iwo Jima still is by far the best in my opinion

i went to sleep at 5 and it was

checked just now and it's

i was expecting coral sea to be unlocked when i woke up...

I am aware that you can cut across using the boats, that's what makes it a circle. Otherwise it would be a U shape.

I use the boats to get to other flags as well. It's usually safer, faster and allows you to flank rather well.
 
The news ticker at the bottom of the screen now reads: "43 Million Kills are completed, faster than expected, Coral Sea will unlock today congratulations"
