The Crysis 2 Experience: Part 1 - Road Rage - XBox 360 - Gameplay Trailer

Enemies with eagle vision and pinpoint accuracy if you don't have your cloak engaged, no thanks.
That's how Crysis did it and maybe some prefer it to enemies that can't see further than ten meters in front of them.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's a response to the leak - that length of uninterrupted, unedited gameplay. Dozens of videos of the same level already on youtube. PC vids blow it away graphically.

looks ok.. but framerate dips sometimes.. and look at the trees in the background around 1.07 min. into the video.. they just appear suddenly.. looks bad.

Pretty game
But looks like the same boring gameplay from Crysis 1
Gimme some interesting scenarios

Blood is a neat addition

No, what's laughable are enemies that can't see you when you can see them, and enemies that stop being on alert because you exited their sight cone.

Crytek AI actually continuing to shoot at a bush they saw you go in makes sense. Not disengaging and going back to their patrol root because you disappeared into a bush.

So awesome.

Heavy Framerate issues in this version means that the PS3 ver. is going to suck.

I hope the game is a bit more open than this. Give me a tall building/large park/lab/whatever to storm from multiple angles and I'll be happy. Running down a single walled-in street looks meh.

Pretty though, nice atmosphere too.

gtfo. Make interesting scenarios yourself, you have a lot of tools at your disposal.

Does Alcatraz even speak? I'm not digging a silent protagonist after Nomad.

What. Crysis 1 has awesome gameplay.

GFX doesn't look shabby at all for a console version. Not bad at all. However, the FPS issue is prevalent and my hope is that's not in some way connected to AI opponents needing CPU time versus the MP beta which was solid as hell.

I will keep an eye on it. If they get the FPS to the MP beta level I would be super happy.

I thought that looked pretty damn good (and much better than I expected). And, yes, I played Crysis 1 on a PC with a config that essentially maxed out most of the settings and gave me a framerate around 35-45. But that still looked pretty good.

I forgot that Nomad spoke until my most recent playthrough, probably has something to do with not seeing his face. You can hear Alcatraz's voice in the second-latest trailer (Be the Weapon).

I hope that most of that HUD junk can be turned off.

The HUD is way to intrusive and busy with effects. Yeah, I know you are wearing a nanosuit but I just don't like HUDs.

I hope Crysis 2 delta brings back the grab weapon and ammo animation of your arm picking it up. Picking stuff up just by walking onto it always weirds me out in FPS games.

This.
They keep acting like a ps3 version doesn't exist (no footage whatsoever) while talking about how good their 'cross platform' engine is.

PC video? Linkage?

Far as I can tell, the texture work looks fantastic for a console game.

He probably means vids of the leaked PC version. We are not allowed to post links to videos of pirated games here.

There is always Delta (I hope)
But looks good, except the small popups and framerate issues. Gonna upgrade my 5850 soon I guess.

This is a day 1 purchase for me on 360, especially since I don't have a PC that can run it. However, if I get a new MB Pro, do you guys think it'll run the original crysis?

Since the beta is leaked, you can find many videos of the PC version, I however believe it is not allowed to share these on this forum.

EDIT: Beaten.

Graphics look very good for the console version. But probably wait for a new pc. Too bad of the framedrops and popup issues

I understand Crysis 2 looks much better, but I still can't help but be impressed by how it looks on a 6-year-old piece of hardware.
