I don't see why this is even an issue when the frigging thread title advertises the fact that a bootleg version of the trailer can be found in this thread.

But then again, the trailer isn't filling thousands of seats with Batman fans like the prologue is meant to.

Gaah, shit.. I'm starting an information blackout on this movie. I hate spoilers, yet I've read so many.

I think scarecrow's role is only for support, nothing more. You can't really compare the two in the nolan era batman.

I hope cillian will resort to wearing his scarecrow mask since
his face should be dismembered after what katie holmes did to him
, I don't care about you guys but that would really seal the deal for me. joker and scarecrow in full fledge costume and makeup respectfully.

your standards are way too high for leaked cam quality footage.

the only thing horrible was the sound, the camera was atleast full screen and clear enough to tell whats what.

missed that NEW one! I will check it out, although "only thing horrible is sound" is a pretty major thing ;)
 
The new prologue bootleg is much more watchable and you can actually hear everything even though the sound is poor quality.

Awesome scene, but I think I prefer the two minute trailer to be honest. That better be released online in high-def tomorrow.
 
ok, now i'm lost, Its obvious that he have a huge grudge against the mob and the mob might have made him the joker. but.......:/

EDIT: who was holding the axe and smashing the bat signal? I couldn't see who was.

soooo, did he do that because batman dismembered dent or because batman got framed for killing the DA? I'm guessing the public turns against him in favor of the joker around that time of the movie.

just speculating of course.
 
It was so awesome to see again.

Granted due to the size of the imax some of the stuff was missing such as Gordon axing the Batsignal but still cool to have a version to watch.

Heath Ledger is obviously going to dominate this role. From what I've seen, he's not just a guy who is playing The Joker; he is much, much more involved than that. He seems to give the character a whole new life on screen.
 
i just got back from watching I Am Legend...boy did i have a adventure trying to catch the iMAX prologue here in the NYC area:

the IMAX in the city was sold out from the beginning of the day so i decided to go to long island for their imax theater. problem was i could not tell if it was sold out or not since their phone service was down and they do not sell tickets online.

for the 10pm show we get there by 9pm and its sold out, as is the showing after that one.

dejected we all decide lets just all go to a regular theater and watch the movie. go to the local lowes....barely make the last show...its packed...we have crappy seats but whatever...at least we get to see the trailer.

1 trailer...2 trailer...3 trailer...ok so each trailer im anticipating batman more and more.

some new 10000 BC movie trailer starts and i think its the dark knight but its not.

ok so now it has to come right? NO!!!! THE STUPID CARTOON STARTS UP TELLING US TO BE QUIET AND TURN OUR CELL PHONES OFF....

now it says YOUR FEATURE PRESENTATION.

im so pissed...my friends too but they are not as big batman junkies as i am..

but then....right after that stupid cartoon..the green "the following preview has been approved for all audiences" pops up again and now im like OH HELL YEAH!!!! this has to be it...and right as i said it the logo pops up and so the does the batman theme....oh man it was so awesome to see it in good quality.

is that how it is for other ppl too? it almost seemed like the trailer was a part of the movie since it popped up after the rest of the previews finished.
 
TDK trailer was very last for me too. I was starting to get worried they wouldn't show it.

I was also got tricked by the 10,000 BC trailer since it starts out just like TDK.
 
Holy crap. Totally loved seeing the prologue on the IMAX screen and it sold it for me to see the movie that way too. The top of the building shot with the zip line down was the cincher. Very happy right now.

To me it just seems like he is putting the Hamil version on-screen with an R-rating. The make-up/costume team is awesome. Kudos to whoever they hired.
