At to that the ridiculous looking flying vehicle and the Tumbler-esque vehicles in the city painted in camouflage colours and you've pretty much summed up my complaints thus far.Oof.
-The football scene CGI looks like something from a PS3 game.
-Bane looks entirely ridiculous
-the corny Catwoman dialogue is startlingly unoriginal and flat.
I loved the last one, but this is going to be a big goofy mess.
I'm so jealous that you saw the whole movie already. Shame its gonna suck, based on your time travelling post =/

This movie is worth it for JGL and Tom Hardy alone.
Love em.
you just mad Catwoman represents the 99% lol
Talking about the Bane chant? I thought it was translated to "kill him" or something like that. I'm sure somebody else can say for sure. What is the crowd saying?
I couldn't understand that when I saw it in the theater.
That's actually about the only part that struck me as a decent idea (even if executed in bad junior-high level dialogue).
As I said in the other thread, the trailer isn't very good as far as I'm concerned. A real mixed bag.
Should have played the Joker.
Can anyone finish this line in the trailer for me?
"The mayor's been dumping _____"
I honestly can't hear it.
Funny enough, I understood Bane fine.
IF THERE ARE NOLAN'S MEN IN THIS THREAD, OR NOLAN HIMSELF:
Please edit football scene out entirely and replace it
I think you guys know you made a mistake and are just letting it slide
It will be a noticable injury at the end

High five.
I love the Alfred/Bruce stuff (Michael Caine bringing it, getting me all emotional in 5 seconds, goddamn), the political maneuvering to oust Gordan, the brief Selina scene, the prison flashbacks, etc. And there are some fantastically composed Pfister shots.
What I think I love most is that the whole thing seems to be wrapped in a layer of sadness. There will be no happy ending to this.
I'm not sure if I liked the pacing of that trailer... needed a bigger payoff at the end. At this point I honestly don't know what to think about the movie. I'm still positive though. It's Nolan.
I agree but again Nolan has said publicly this is about Bruce/Batman redeeming himself. Ther has to be some happy ending, especially if it wraps up Batman's story in this trilogy.
Also the quick shot of someone sliding down Wayne Manor looks awesome.
I don't really see what the problem is with the football scene.
Please explain to me.
He's saying that the mayor is going to dump Gordon as commissioner at election time as he represents the old guard from the time when Gotham was a cesspool.
I meant in this of course. Ledger also didn't fit the menacing psycho mold.In TDK? Hell fucking no. In fact, I don't think Levitt would be a good Joker at all. He doesn't fit a menacing psycho mold.
And he definitely shouldn't play him in this.
