Yeah, Hathaway's line reading was a bit overdone. I bet the final movie uses a different take than what we saw in the trailer.

Trailer itself is fine. Some cool shots. Doesn't seem to give anything away. And I had no problem understanding Bane.

Bruce is rocking some gray hairs in that shot, so I can't see it being a flashback.

Prediction time, GAF. Who is going to steal the show this time? Ledger gets a lot of deserved props for TDK, but he also had the flashiest role. I though Aaron Eckhart and especially Gary Oldman matched him step for step.

So whos it gonna be in TDKR? Smart money says the focus back on Bruce will give Bale a chance to shine again like he did in BB.

I think the entire movie is going to be a vehicle for Batman to once again step back into the spotlight.

I just think the Joker is a better villain... he's more about the psychological terror, you combine that with Heath Ledger's performance, and all his scenes/lines... pretty much the best villain role ever made in the history of movies.

I don't think Bane will come close to that, but nothing can stop Nolan of making a better movie all around.

I'm just trying not to get hyped up because I did that with TDK, and left the movies thinking Begins was much better, although I have changed opinions now (sorry Solo)

Really, after the prologue I have little doubt about Bane/Hardy as the villain. I mean these "not going to be as good as the Joker" comments seem a little premature. One of these villains is really in your face I'm a madman, while the other seems to be more methodical and subtle.

The visual appearance of both Bane and Catwoman are quite a step down from Joker and Harvey, but any nitpicks about CGI will almost certainly be ironed out by the time the movie releases.
