Prometheus will get TDKR'd in July...because we won't get the director's cut of Prometheus til November.
Lol. It wouldn't be as bad if it weren't for the angle we see it from, and the fact that the receiver is just running normally.

Think of it as a rough cut advance screening.
Alien didn't get a Director's Cut. It was called that, but Ridley didn't make it and prefers his original. Is there confirmation from him of witholding a preferred cut for the home market?

Nope. I was watching the special features on the Alien Anthology and he said he preferred the theatrical version.
Ridley said hes shooting coverage for an R rated cut of Prometheus back in July IIRC
ANd yeah, the "director's cut" of Alien is just a marketing gimmick. Fox asked him if he wanted to make an alternate cut for the DVD box set and he did, but he still stands by the theatrical cut as the definitive version.

Man I do hope they do something about the muffled voices. First Gordon in the teaser, now Bain and even Bale and that other guy for the "What does that mean?" "Rise" part. Detracting from my enjoyment of these trailers. =/

I saw the trailer in theaters and online, I heard everything perfectly. A lot of other people did as well.
So it's very strange you didn't hear it right :/ Speaker problems maybe?

Why does Bane look so sad when looking at a beaten Batman?
Is it sadness... or pity? Maybe disgust or apathy.
Hardy's eyes are great. While facial expressions are partially obscured by his mask, he seems to be doing wonders with the eyes to compensate.

Well you heard it in theaters first, which presumably had a better sound setup than I do. Then when you saw it online you carried over what you knew from seeing it in theaters.
It sounded like he was speaking with a really bad cold to me. I got some of it, "ashes... allow you to die." Otherwise, nada.
I can't be the only one.

Weak trailer. Big, big, fan of Nolan's Batman movies, and I have no doubt it's going to be a good movie, but this just wasn't a good trailer.
Weird chanting. Hardly any batman. Zero catwoman. Boring ass villain. And almost shockingly poor CGI during the football scene.

Who exactly is in that line anyway? I think pretty much everybody has said they think it will be good, but that the football stadium shot looks misplaced.

Granted I watched the trailer on a laptop with shitty speakers but I had a lot of trouble making out what was said (which doesn't happen with other trailers).
What did Bane and Selina say?
I know Selina said something about a storm coming and Bane said something about Bruce being given permission to die, but I couldn't make out what they were saying word for word.
Im really excited for this film but I did think the trailer was kind of underwhelming.
Not enough shots of Batman or Bane but im also glad they don't show too much in the trailer and spoil everything.
