CORGI GET! WOOOOT!!

I can't wait to get my version with the Corgi, but my wife is the one who will be playing it non stop. I think I'm going to get the version with the pug also.

CORGI REPRESENT!
My girlfriend got flustered when she found out I had started playing without her and proceeded to take it from me and play with the Kennel dogs for 30 minutes.

Ok, I named my brand new Labrador Babble (aye, of Dragon Quest fame) and he has now mastered the SIT DOWN, LIE DOWN, and SHAKE commands. Sadly, mastering the art of catching TEH BLOO FRIZZZBEEEE as yet eludes him!

So cute! :)

As of now, I'm thinking of picking up one of the US versions (I already have JP Chihuahua). I'm leaning toward Dachs as of now. :)
COPYCAT

I picked up the Dach today as well, I won't get to open it until Sunday because its technically the girlfriend's game not mine.

Advance Wars for the win!

There are no more openings for the club. It's filled. We work with what we have.

Now wait a second... I thought Smiles and Cries* clearly said that everyone who purchased a copy of Nintendogs could become part of the club -- granted, we might not all get to be in the group photos nor get invited to the club founders' clambakes, but we're still members! You guys are the Grand Poobahs and Chief Raccoons ... the rest of us are just the loyal Drinky Puppyites.

I need to get a picture of Bobby soon -- and then make room for his new pal, Drinky! Just give me time to earn a little cash.

EDIT: Sorry. I'm an idiot. I wrote the wrong name. Smiles, can you ever forgive me?

GaimeGuy? Who the Nintendog is that?
The joy that is Nintendogs temporarily damaged the long term memory portion of my brain. I meant to write Smiles and Cries. I beg forgiveness from all the Drinky Puppy overlords.

(Grovel grovel grovel)

Ok ok ok.

Listen.

You can join our little....whatever.

But just this once.

Just...don't act too much like a nintard around these here forums.

Yeah I did say anyone who gets the american copy can join and they did not have to call the dog Drinky for the american version... would be nice to get more drinkies but I think I want a dog I can call Potato (Potato is the dancing dog in my avatar) for my american copy

You guys can continue to post in this thread and tell us about your puppies and photos and such are welcomed.

:)

I think I like Smiles much more than I like Demi.

(Makes a mental note to gush much more about the glory that is Nintendo whenever Demi walks into the room.)

NOW YOU LISTEN HERE

I might just be a LITTLE PISSED because Mr. MTV DICK didn't feel like calling me.

ME!

DEMI

He really has some nerve.

SO HELP ME GOD

Ok. I feel sorry for Demi now.

I'll name one of my Nintendogs after you, Demi -- you won't be forgotten!

...

Do you mind if little Demi wears a Mario cap all the time?

Alright, I taught Babble how to roll over too. That one was pretty tricky to figure out. He won't learn anymore tricks today.

He did catch his first frisbee just now!

However, he beaned 3x with a tennis ball before I realized that perhaps we're not ready for that yet.

And he doesn't even give me an apologetic email, either.

No "Hey sorry can we reschedule?"

No "Hey sorry I had to cancel"

No "Hey sorry you're not good enough for MTV"

Nothing.

Seriously, VERY unprofessional.

I got a beagle and named her Samus. She's afraid of sticks and bubbles. She is getting better at the frisbee comp and I might have enough money now to buy another puppy and name it Drinky.

I went for a walk and some bitch with a Chiahuhah told me to clean up after my dog. So I was like "BRING IT ON" and Samus tore her fucking Chiahuhah up. She pounced that little wimp and it was like "SAMUS DID NOT LIKE CHAUNCY VERY MUCH". You damned right.

I also taught her the "show yo azz" trick. I don't know the point of it, but she loves to turn around and stick her butt in the air. So I just assigned it the voice command of "Show yo azz". It was like the second trick she learned. Good girl.

I love that trick! :lol

For my Drinky it's "shake your booty."

Just picked up a copy of the US Lab Nintendogs. My yellow lab, Luffy, is coming along just fine. Just started watching all the Japanese One Piece episodes and I guess you could say I got One Piece on the brain.

Yeah, now I'm thinking I should have used "Shake yo azz", but they sound similiar enough it might work still.

And I fixed my typo.

I got a dark brown Corgi and named it Shiggy, and I just earned enough to buy a Black Shiba named Diogi. My gf got a Pug named Begoy.

What are some clever names for tricks? I use "Park it!" for sit, "Relax" for lie down, "High Five" for shake etc.

One of my trick commands is "I don't what the hell that was" because it kept showing that trick icon and I didn't really see it doing a trick. So that's what I'd say.

Are some people this retarded or is this review at amazon a joke (as most of them are)?

Not recommended. Wait for the PSP version of Nintendogs instead., August 24, 2005
Reviewer: Objective gamer - See all my reviews

I don't recommend this game, it is mediocre plain and simple. Instead gamers should wait for the PSP version of Nintendogs. Considering how much more powerful the PSP is, hardware-wise, compared to the DS, the PSP version of Nintendogs should be spectacular (meanwhile, the DS version of Nintendogs is, like I said, just mediocre).

But its going to be interesting to see how the 'touch' factor is handled on the PSP. My guess is that a touch-screen add-on will be included with the PSP version of Nintendogs.

My recommendation....wait for the PSP version of Nintendogs to come out. It will be worth the wait. Resist the urge to buy Nintendogs for the DS, wait for the PSP version to come out. That version should rock! --This text refers to Nintendogs - Dachshund.

WTF?

I don't have much interest in this but today I finally got to play it for a moment and I have to say...the way the dog reacts to the TOUCHING...is eerily well done. I'm a huge dog person and obviously the people who made this got some small but important things right. Very impressive, Nintendos. It made me think that this game could be gigantic.

Got mine today and I seriously fucking love it!! I had to put my Beagle down in November 2003 because he came down with Pancreatitis. I can't currently afford another dog given my current situation, so this will fill in the void that he left in me.

Also picked up Advance Wars DS and haven't even touched it yet!
