I think you catch my drift. Pretty much any half assed random combination of the words: honor, war, valor, medal, duty, brothers, war, etc. It is so tacky and creatively bankrupt.
This annoys the hell out of me. Not just for game trailers, but for anything on the internet. The most annoying thing is that I can't imagine it actually works to keep kids from viewing the content. Kids aren't idiots. If they want to see something, they'll just lie about their age.Demigod Mac said:* Having to "Verify your Age" every time you watch a game trailer

This annoys me the most. I use steam so the DRM is not an issue for me and my computer blows.Demigod Mac said:* Exclusive preorder bonuses that are different at each store.
* Paid "Download Content" that's really just an unlock key for what's already on the disc
* Having to watch 5 unskippable company logos every time you boot up a game
* Having to "Verify your Age" every time you watch a game trailer
* DRM schemes that limit how many installs you can do but don't have a de-authorize option
Then have a "Click to confirm you are over 18" thing. Don't make me scroll through three separate dropdown boxes to input my age.Petrie said:Knowing their going to lie doesn't change the fact that those boxes relieve them of some liability. The alternative is not having the content posted at all.
Protip: Just change the year.KevinCow said:Then have a "Click to confirm you are over 18" thing. Don't make me scroll through three separate dropdown boxes to input my age.
Yeah, I do that on Gametrailers. But some sites stick the default month and day at the words "Month" and "Day" so you have to change them.pakkit said:Protip: Just change the year.

paying for small shit like costumes, themes and avatars
announcements for announcements
exclusive demos/ DLC
a shooter has to be like CoD, in order to good :/
lack of split screen multiplayer
if game isn't 1080p/ 60 fps, it automatically sucks
too much hype for games these days (from media and gamers)
blind Wii hatred (come on guys, grow up)
music/ rythmn/ games that require a plastic toy
multiplayer > single player (seems like single player has taken a back seat)
arbitrary review scores (isn't new, but vg reviews should just be text IMO)
the fact that gaming is being watered down (shovelware, Madden, Guitar Hero, CoD, ect)...
Acitivision...enough said.....
Japanese devs doing the same old shit
I can probably name more....

This one right here. All those costume packs I bought for Soulcalibur 4Xenon said:Costume packs for $$$.
Why bother making useful DLC for games when you can put out a few outfits and watch the money come in.
