Checked out the image, the post was a person dismissing the TC and her thread. The substance of it is "I don't care" and almost declaring his enjoyment of a character criticized in the OP out of spite. You've been on that site, and yet you can't even identify the proper reason why a person was warned, and feel it important to mischaracterize it as "oh they like Quiet so they got banned"? Come on.

It really hurts you that some people don't hate innocent pedophiles that haven't done anything wrong, huh? You complain about the perceived rise of racism and alt-right, yet are fine with hate speech (and hate action) against a group of people that has literally done nothing bad. Since people like you, Rasta or Oni keep trying to get me banned for defending those who are innocent: I'm against racists, I laugh about neonazis, I cringe when some uses slurs against homosexual people, and I'm all for equality. But somehow I don't stop there and continue to spread undeserved hate against another minority. Because the world I want to live in is a world where everyone can live peacefully at ease. I feel no wrong about my attitude at all.

You can now continue equating pedophiles with sex criminals, you're clearly not willing to show empathy. I've explained myself enough. If defending innocent people is ban-worthy, then please do so.

GAF has been my home on the 'net for years now and I didn't/don't want it to die. I see people talk about how the site used to "shut down" or otherwise "silence" dissenting viewpoints, though I can't say I really ever saw that myself. It's true there seemed to be defence forces for everything imaginable though. I wanted GAF to survive the massive user exodus and I expected it to.

However, looking at the "Flynn to plead guilty" thread alone I'm wondering if it's worth saving now. People go on about GAF being an echo board for the left but I see people on either side of the political spectrum being utterly hateful and insulting to each other in ways that would have gotten them all banned in minutes on the GAF of old. I always loved that the forum was so heavily moderated as it meant that you'd never see such shitty behaviour tolerated for longer than it'd take for a mod to swoop in. Seeing the crap being spewed in that thread alone has me wondering about the forum and my time on it. Is this really what people are talking about when they say that with all those "crusaders" gone we can encourage real discussion without fear of being banned or shouted down?

There's some really disgraceful behaviour going on in there and it's really telling of the state the forum is in. When I saw this thread, my initial reaction was that the OP was being silly and overreacting, but now I'm not so sure. In my experience, on the GAF of old you understood the rules and the consequences of breaking them - you write something insulting, expect to get banned. Is this new insulting environment where people write some truly odious shit really what we all want out of GAF?

I've loved this site for years now. It took me years to get registered and I was so happy when I finally did it. I think GAF is worth fighting for, so I'll continue to stay and post (so to anyone ready to jump in with a "then why are you still here?", there you go), but things need to get a move on in terms of adding more moderators and getting them on with... moderating.

But maybe you honestly don't know, so I'll explain it to you: pedophilia is an unfortunate sexual attraction. It is *not* an action. Most pedophiles are like you, they just keep their attraction hidden, from fear and shame, but they don't hurt anybody. Those are innocent people. If you disagree, please elaborate how they're not innocent, despite having committed no crime.

And then you have scumbags like Amirox, who consumed child porn, thus being a sex criminal. I'm not sure why he's brought up when I'm saying 'innocent pedophiles'. He clearly isn't innocent.

I agree. Why don't these posters make the site great again? When you see some Libtard make a SJW post contact a mod so they can ban them. Well... there aren't any mods, so maybe not ban them. Let's dog pile them instead about how much better the site is now that leftistcucks aren't here dog piling people. And soon it will be our "Let's just focus on games" utopia.
