:lol, Arnold looks like such a goofy likeable guy in that picture. I bet he was awesome to hang out with back then

Willis is the only one that has even remotely aged nicely.
the other two look like potatoes.

Holy hell...this just keeps getting better and better! The concession stands better be prepared to serve rare steak, beer and cigars for the showing of this flick. I also fully expect a "Drop and give me twenty" break half way through the showing. Those who can't hack it, have to leave the theater and go watch The Wedding Planner or something instead.

He stared in The Onion Movie as "Cock Puncher".
Not to mention he has strongly implied in certain interviews that his entire persona will one day be realized as the greatest comedic performance of all time. The guy has more of a sense of humor about himself than I think he lets on.

Stephan Seagull might be the Andy Kaufmang of bullshit action movies.

Willis is like 10 years younger than them though I think. Well and it doesn't help that Sly is like 90% botox and steroids at this point.

I don't even have to watch the movie at this point to know that it is going to be the best action movie from the last 10 years easily.

When was this going to be PG-13? I thought Sly swore on his mother's life that it will be a hard R or they would not have done it at all.

I thought it was up in the air about what the rating would be. If it's hard R then awesome.

Was just worried 'cause Avi Lerner's wants to do a PG13 cut as well and has already said it won't be as violent as Rambo.

When asked if Rambo 5 would be as violent as the most recent Rambo from 2008, Lerner responded with a resounding "no!" He continues: "The story in Burma had to be tackled that way, with extreme and brutal violence so that it portrayed an important aspect of what that story is about. He also told us that they lost at least half the audience for that film with such a hard R, so neither The Expendables nor the Rambo sequel will be as brutal."

Guess I'm reading too much into it :/

it could end up being pg-13, according to the producer.

Also interesting, there will be both PG-13 and R rated cuts for The Expendables and they will test each to decide which to release. The Expendables is costing about 80 million dollars, thanks to so many real explosions, the star cast, and everything else that goes into making an action flick. The studio wants this film to be a big hit and Avi is hoping to turn it into a franchise - including whoever doesn't die in the first film in subsequent films. My money is on Dolph dying.

it probably will.

If this movie ends up being PG-13 I'm going to personally punch the balls of every man involved in the making of the film.

wth is this stuff real? I thought Arnold had stopped acting for good? O_o

Release? Movie of the year? So many questions!

That is the only thing that really bothers me with a PG-13 rating. I can deal with the loss of people getting turned to goo or heads getting taken off but I need to hear lots of mother fuckers so the dialog can feel real.

He would be great in it and when he's not on screen everyone can talk about how much of a badass he is.
I never got the hype for Steven Segal. Stallone, Ahnold and Bruce Willis are all a lot better than that fuck.

At this point, it's manly enough to survive a PG-13 rating. But it sure as shit better be R. I want Rambo gore, dammit!

who is going to be the fight choreographer? It'd be weird to have Jet Li in a film without someone like corey yuen/yuen woo ping.

Hopefully this along with Rambo, bring about a return of action movies the way they're supposed to be made.
Rambo was a fun movie, but look at its box office. It won't influence shit.

You forgot Ninja Assassin. Besides having the best title ever, it's going to be fucking insane, from what I hear.

I don't think Rambo did well enough to have much of an impact. The box office figures didn't even match it's budget in NA (did better overseas). We're not even close to the days when Rambo II did 300m world wide (back in '85!). That said, Rambo 2008 was a better movie on a smaller budget.

I think the success of "R" rated films without massive budgets will provide some incentive to studios and help them realilze there is an audience...and that you don't need $150m to make a great action pic (not that I wouldn't want to see a $150m "R" rated action pic!).

Damn! Gary Daniels is in it? I used to watch many of his B movies as a kid and thought he was the shit! Kenshiro bitches! KENSHIRO!
