WWE alum "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Charisma Carpenter have been added to the cast of "The Expendables," starring, written and directed by Sylvester Stallone. Cast includes Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham.

Austin recently wrapped fight pic "Damage" and inked a TV development deal with Original Media and Caliber Media. Carpenter just completed horror pics "House of Bones" and "Vivid."

While everyone is busy firing their rifles/rpgs/uzis, I better see Steve Austin just using his stunner on anything and everyone in the background.

Sly is beasting right now. I can't wait for this movie. I think he's setting off to make the movie of the century looking at the way he is dedicating himself to it.

And I love that it seems for the most part he's just picking up the phone asking people to be in the movie and they're all probably like "Fuck yea."

and then his wife comes in and says, "Honey, we need you to balance the California budget..." and he ducks out stage right.
 
When this movie gets a home release there's no way it will be on DVD or Blu-ray, it will be distributed on Hard Discs ain't no way a plastic disc can hold this much awesomeness. :D

Forest Whitaker was forced to pull out due to shooting delays. Stallone has cast Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as his replacement.

I have no comment on this casting news.

I appreciate the incredible amount of work you've done on my behalf. Please tell the loyal followers to be positive not negative in their feedback. I am not self-destructive. The anger of the casting of 50 Cent is understandable, but not fair. A player is only as good as his coach. If a man can communicate in one medium, he can communicate in another if his strengths are brought out and he has the support of well-wishers. So, trust me, the change of Forest Whitaker to 50 Cent AKA Curtis Jackson is a good one. No one thought Dolph Lundgren was a good choice for ROCKY or Mr. T. for Rocky III. Carl Weathers was an afterthought when Ken Norton fell out. The same with Talia Shire and Richard Crenna (who was known as a comedic actor, not a serious
one).

Nobody wanted Eric Roberts over Ben Kingsley, but I believe it's a vastly improved casting. The point is, you either believe in me and the project, setting your personal feelings aside, or you take a darker approach, which really serves no purpose since your insight and suggestions and overall enthusiasm are a great thrill for me to behold everyday I sign on.

Yeah but they had a bit of acting talent, hell Dolph Lundgren is actually very intelligent. 50 cent is a dumb arse who thinks he's awesome, can't act for shit and speaks like he's just been to the dentist and the anesthetic hasn't worn off.

Sly and carl weathers got into a dispute while Sly was making Rocky Balboa and he called him Apollo Greed

I don't know if that would make a difference though

50 Cent is out! Who is in THE EXPENDABLES? Stallone says...

Hey folks, Harry here... It is Saturday, the second SXSW Saturday of the year - and yes, I'm about to head out to see more movies. It has been a wonderful, yet taxing week of cinema. But throughout this week - there's been the update on the casting of HALE CAESAR. For quite some time, the role belonged to Forest Whitaker, but a push in the schedule made it impossible for the Ghost Dog to continue with the film. Then I received a call, informing me that rapper, 50 CENT aka Curtis Jackson, had stepped into the role. Then Sly sent me an email regarding that casting, that I updated the story with. Well... today, I get woke up with a very enthusiastic call from Stallone, who has recast the role of Hale Caesar for a final (hopefully) time. So... who is Hale Caesar?

First off - he's 6'2 & a half" and BIG. He's a former San Diego Charger. He made his screen debut with Arnold Schwarzeneggar in THE 6TH DAY. And his most recent film will be this summer's Arnie-less TERMINATOR SALVATION. He is TERRY CREWS. Not necessarily a big name, but a big man to take his place among other big men. As I said, Sly seems very enthusiastic about this fella and I look forward to seeing what Terry Crews has in store for us.

Hahahaha I read the last page quickly and it was great how I went from "Noooo Ghost Dog" to "wtf 50 cent!" to finally "SHEEEEEEEEEIT JULIUS ROCK!"
