There's a surprising amount of depth in the strategy of the game.. with just enough luck thrown in to create that MegaMan feeling of I'M GOING TO THROW THE CONTROLLER THROUGH THE SCREEN.

I have a really broad definition of puzzlers.

Action/puzzle - Games that give direct control over something that must be used to construct, unlock, or destroy something else in order to gain points and/or move to a new wave/stage.

Grid/puzzle - Games that give partial or indirect control over some sort of shape that must be used to construct, unlock, or destroy something else in order to gain points and/or move to a new wave/stage.


I just see games and I instantly classify them that way subconsciously.

I'm usually not one to nitpick too much, but why is there so much bare screen space? I know all the previous games have been 4:3, but you would think they would have gone HD and made the game fully 16:9 for this.

People do still play on 4:3 screens, and the boards need to be exactly the same in all cases otherwise the leaderboards would be wildly inaccurate.
