I believe someone said they worked, though it may depend on the quality of them.

but I read the Shacknews review, and I don't know if I can stand the PS3 Eyetoy being non-wireless. This is seriously the only thing stopping me from buying it tomorrow.
SRG01 said:How can you expect a digital webcam to be wireless and have a reliable connection? Wireless protocols are inherently unreliable and lossy. Redundancy schemes slow down the data rate and would just make things slow.

I will be curious to see if the boosters are in stock at Gamestop. Our boosters from our largest distributor were always scheduled for the 21st and now that Amazon has been pushed back as well.. Our other distributor just put the solicitation out this week for..... Nov 21st. If gstop has them I'd assume that the game stores have a timed-exclusive because any hobby distrib I've talked to says not until Late Nov.Remy said:My boosters got shoved back on Amazon to November 23.
Augh.
In Magic the only way you could really build a new deck without a theme deck was to buy at least a box of boosters. Otherwise buying 5-8 packs wouldn't yield enough copies of sufficient land colors. It's like this in most games as well. So to build her a new deck your cheapest bet is to buy a themed one. If you plan on buying a half a box or more though (at least 18 packs) then yeah, you should be able to get a good deck out of it.DenogginizerOS said:I need to build a second deck for my wife. Should I buy a bunch of booster packs or should I buy a Theme deck?
Wollan said:Well it would be a nice world if every co-op came with a second controller.
It's a card collecting game so players having their own deck is a part of it's nature.
Err... As far as I know, there is NO lands in Magic boosters. But you can buy starter of the current edition (NOT theme decks) with lands included, and two of them is enough to have a sufficient number of lands (except if you want to go unicolor).borghe said:In Magic the only way you could really build a new deck without a theme deck was to buy at least a box of boosters. hmm.. I am thinking way back, but I could have sworn that sets like Ice Age had lands in them. Note that I haven't played since the mid-90's.Koren said:Err... The main reason to buy boosters is that, once you have enough lands, it's cheaper to get cards, and you avoid getting land cards.

fubarduck said:Ice Age booster packs actually had Snow-Covered lands sometimes (which were basically regular lands that said "Snow-Covered" on them), since that was part of the "Ice Age" theme and some of the cards were dependent on them. IIRC, that was the only set that had "basic" lands in the booster packs unless they were rare/foiled/whatever.
Haven't played Magic seriously since '99 or so though, so I am still on the tip of whether or not to take the EoJ plunge . . . ugh.
I understand why the EyeToy needs to be wireless, but still--the table I would be playing the cards on is so far away from my PS3.
Does anyone know how long the built-in cord is?
Ferrio said:Anyone actually ever use the snow covered land required cards? Always thought those were the stupidest shit ever.
heh.. that was the only expansion I ever picked up (a couple of boxes off of ebay). That would explain why I thought lands were in boostersfubarduck said:Ice Age booster packs actually had Snow-Covered lands sometimes (which were basically regular lands that said "Snow-Covered" on them), since that was part of the "Ice Age" theme and some of the cards were dependent on them. I love Magic and still play with one of my friends regularly, so I figured this would be perfect for me.
Hmm, I have to give it another try this evening.
