Still have it.

Fire pro g for psx it cost £70 I think I got it from lik sang I remember having all the translations printed out in a ring binder all my friends thought I'd gone to far with the wrestling game obsession lol.

F-Zero for N64. Think it's the only game I've imported to date.

PocketStation. Actually, it was my brother who bought it totally overpriced from a Game Store. I was about 12 years old, and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Only played Chocobo's World on it. I will own it and use it as my primary memory card when I play PSone.

This was my first too! I knew someone would have posted it Haha. It was followed by:

Taiko no Tatsujin DS (with drum stick stylus)
Point Blank DS
Rhythm Tengoku GBA
Super Sentai Shout Rain (voice controlled DS game from JP Club Nintendo)
Jump Superstars
Ossu! 2
Jump Ultimate Stars

.. I think that was it, I went mad importing during the DS era than stopped, other than the Chinese/English language version of Demons Souls as it didn't get released in the U.K.

I bought a US Gamecube back in ~2002 from a local seller on Ebay and started importing Gamecube games, not only because the Australian dollar was doing great back then, but PAL game releases were way behind the US releases in some cases.

Metroid Prime - NA: November 17th 2002, AUS: April 3rd 2003
Resident Evil 4 - NA: January 11th 2005, AUS: March 18th 2005
Resident Evil(REmake) - NA: April 30th 2002, AUS: September 13th 2002
etc.

HK version of Demon's Souls, which had fully functional english menus, subtitles and even voice acting. Not entirely sure when I imported it but first trophy earned was April 2009.

Funny story was that after I had completed it, I tried trading it in at the local used game store (as I did with most games at the time) but they wouldn't take it as it wasn't from the UK or EU region. I'm really glad I kept it as it forced me to go for the plat, create multiple builds, engage in PVP and start challenge runs too and kickstarted my love for the series. At the time Demon's Souls wasn't set to be released in the US let alone in the UK and finally came out more than a year later in June 2010.

Really glad that happened and it's now a piece of memorabilia that reminds me of my start with the series.

The World Ends With You and Sun, Flower, Rain for the DS, although those were technically imported since I brought them when I was staying in France and brought them with me back to Mexico.

I can't find any images online of them, but way back when, I bought a set of chibi style PVC Rock Man keychains. I think it was actually my first eBay purchase ever, too.

As far as games go, my first imported video game was Rock Man X3 on PSOne. A friend of mine put a mod chip into my original PlayStation so I could play imports.

Fire Pro Wrestling 6 Men Scramble

MY MAN!
This was mine as well, in 97 I believe. And whoooo crap did I ever fall in love with this series.

Then came Blazing Tornado

and then...

All Japan featuring Virtua Fighter

But they didn't hold a candle to Fire Pro 6Men Scramble Are you excited about the Early Access of Fire Pro Wrestling World that's coming up??

GBA grips and dpad way back in the day from Lik Sang. I think the are all attached, at least the grips.

That thought just made me remember the Afterburner kit that got popular.

Technically my local game store imported it instead of me, but I remember buying the american 'greatest hits' version of Demon's Souls here in the UK because as a young teen I thought the red box looked cool. I knew literally nothing about the game.

As it turns out, it was a very good choice, I played that game to death and am now hooked on the series.

I guess the moral of the story is sometimes you do get somewhere by judging a book by its cover?

I'll be 34 this year and I remember getting Chips and Bits and seeing japanese games for the SNES but we didn't have the money for anything like that.

My first import wasn't really imported by me, but a local game store named Game World in 96 probably 97. it was the first time I had ever really seen any of these Japanese titles live and in color. Those SNES Dragon Ball and Ultraman games always looked awesome to me and this place let me try anything before buying it.

As I knew it had no chance of coming out here.

After this it opened up the floodgates and I've been importing tons of Japanese exclusive games ever since.

mine was the Hong Kong version of Demons Souls, since there were no EU release plans at the time (I imported it about a month or two after it was released there I think, eu version was announced long after I had moved on from the game).

I actually couldn't decide between importing this or Blaz Blue (1st game) at the time. Demons Souls was the "risk", whilst blaz blue was the safer option since I enjoyed Guilty Gear games back in the ps2 era. It was my younger brother who made the final decision on which one to get and I'm glad he chose Demons Souls as the one that I would import.

From what I recall Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core. The PAL release was around 6 months later and I just couldn't wait that long.

A Japanese copy of Mahvel vs. Capcom for Dreamcast. I owned a disc that allowed my US Dreamcast to play Japanese Dreamcast games.

Other imported Japanese Dreamcat games I owned were Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, and Chu Chu Rocket.

Bravely Default: For the Sequel right after regionfour for homebrew 3DS came out. It was actually cheaper to import it, and it wasn't censored, so I bit on it. Technically my first foray into importing was pre-ordering IA/VT -COLORFUL- on Vita, though. Ended up platting it.

Imported from America because it was delayed for ages in the UK.
