The Fountain Soundtrack... Wow

I know I'm late, but is this one of those rare breeds of soundtracks that make the movie? It's such a beautiful soundtrack.

Xibalba is like a lullaby.

Awesome soundtrack, awesome movie.

It is actually, I never quite understood the mixed reviews. It's certainly immensely well acted. Playing it with the sound a bit higher than usual is highly recommended. I liked the story, and it is very deep, but not insanely long it would put you to sleep.

I miss Pop Will Eat Itself so much, but Mansell's scores have been hot as fuck since he started doing them with Pi.

Seek out Kronos' performance of Phillip Glass works. I think it got a cd release. It's the shizz

Listening to this album pretty much broke me in on electronic music. I'm surprised we don't see more output from Mansell.

I think most people didn't like its ambiguous nature. We like to be spoon fed answers nowadays.

Yeah, I absolutely love this movie. I really need to pick up the blu ray. The song that comes on when the space man is absorb back into the cosmos was amazing.

I haven't had the chance to watch The Fountain yet. However, speaking of good OST's, I just got Gattaca's after watching it last night and it is a masterpiece.

The Fountain is maybe my most epic cinema experience to date.. that ending sequence with the combination of the music and the visuals.. holy shit. I just sat there in the theatre with my jaw on the floor for the entire credits roll. The OST is definitely one of the best I've heard.

It's one of my favorite movies as well. Underrated and overlooked as hell, like most of what Aronofsky has done. Hopefully after The Wrestler more people will pay attention to him.

the build up on the road to awe is so amazing. Love the movie, love the soundtrack. Ive been hunting down alot of his other movie scores. I mean damn, he even did the doom soundtrack.
