Does anyone have a need for a brand new set of DK bongos for the gamecube? I've had them kicking around my house forever... I sold DK: Jungle Beat a long time ago and I've had this set kicking around as it was a time of "get lots of music/rhythm games cause the gf likes them"... so I now have a second set of bongos just sitting here. They don't trade for much at GS or sell for much on eBay, so I've been looking for a good home for them.

My only problem with offering them up in this thread would be shipping cost. I think I'd probably take a major bath on it. :|

hey corrosive, you can always ask the recipient to cover the shipping costs but it seems a local deal would be best. It would be at least $7 to ship I think?

I'm cleaning out my garage and have a bunch of programming books and gaming magazines to get rid of. Any interest in them if you pay shipping. I mostly have C, C++, Flash, and HTML books, and Game Informer magazines. A friend of mine from TMK gets first crack at the C++ books, but everything else is up for grabs.

I'd be interested in the C books.

John Cleese, in a game about ancient Asian peoples? sure, why the hell not. :lol

That was easily the game's high point to me. I had no idea it was coming or that he was involved in the game at all. What a great surprise.

Bah. Give it to Gomu Gomu, he had the enthusiatic :D face then the heartbreaking :( face.

(That is, if I was the first person to respond.)

Thanks pal :lol . Also many thanks Master Ninja. I've always wanted to play this game.

So,

I've got a promo code for a free poster (or something like that) from my amazon preorder for Muramasa. I've no interest in it and I'm filling out the ship to address (coming from Ignition) and I'd like to ship it to a GAFer who might want it. I've no idea what it is or if it will come folded, quality, etc. Any NA Muramasa fan who might want this please PM me if you want it then I'll request your address and have Ignition forward it. Ignition says 4-6 weeks.

regards,

Yes Boss!

woo, thanks! I don't care if I get real junk mail, email spam is way worse.

Don't worry, anything from Ignition won't be that bad. I used my email address anyways. Happy to pass it along and hopefully it is of decent quality. Love the game!

EDIT: Donated!

Also,

I've got this Resi 5 Snowglobe that I received as a preorder from Gamecrazy last year. It is a bit dusty and does not have the original box but if some happy GAFer wants it for their game room I'd be happy to send it. Qualifier: it is pretty jank...with Chris and the hottie girl looking nothing like they do in the game. North America/Canada only. I'll ship within a week or two, free of charge.

PM me if you want it. If you are in Europe and (really) want it I'll send it there for free as well.

Btw, vermouth not included. Getting drunk off that tonight (ghetto style).

regards,

Yes Boss!

Wait, is the poster the super awesome painting of Momohime tackling an octopus? If it is, then damn me for not owning a Wii :<

One can hope. I'm thinking it might be just an image of the boxart. Someone email Shane to ask the question. It was free from amazon...likely a chaste cover-art or something.

I'll take that playmobil chef holding up a chicken.

Ha!

That was a gift from my brother many years ago. I like to cook and lived in France so that one has special significance. He is my desktop ornament...sadly, I lost his fry-pan.

what happened to the fallout 3 list? i was fourth or third or something and somehow i haven't received a single PM.... :( I'm actually sad now because I started fallout 3 again just for this.

I have a Steam or Games For Windows Live code for the PC game Stormrise. First person to PM me gets it, though I haven't hear good things about it.

Edit: Gone.

My copy of Klik and Play just arrived in the mail. Thanks so much Master Ninja! I'll be sure to make a little game for gaf after school tomorrow. I was so addicted to the demo for this thing..... :lol

Thanks again!

Would there be any interest in Famicom Disk System games?　Does anyone have the hardware needed to play them? I run an online retro game store in Japan (www.risingstuff.com) and we are always getting these FDS games that work fine but are missing the obi or manual or something. The people who buy from us are mostly collectors and they have no interest in the disk-only games. They are starting to take up a lot of space here. I would be willing to put a game or so up every day if there is any interest. But I don't want them to become decorative coasters.

Also have a few sun damaged PC-FX and Saturn games that I could get rid of.

I actually do have a Famicom Disk System. But then again, I haven't played it in over a decade... I guess it would really depend on what games they are...
