I would of done your Quiz, but I have a SNES. In fact, there is very little you can toss at me that I wouldn't have, unless you find a Master System or Virtual Boy, or a less common handheld.

:( It didn't go over my head, I just didn't find it funny. I also wanted to make sure that people wouldn't get their hopes up, it is not a current-gen system.

See thats what I hate about this thread. Hoarding packrats that havent even played half the stuff they've taken off people's hands. I have some DS games I want to give away at some point, but I see the same faces swiping absolutely everything in this thread and it makes me not want to do it :/

How the hell do you know what people do and don't play?

I for one gave all the games off that big giveaway that I didn't want to people who who actually did want them and would very much play them.
 
I know this isn't "gaming" related, per se. But I've got an unopened copy of Burn Notice Season 2 on DVD that I'm wanting to offload. There's no value in selling DVDs, and if there are any fans of the show here, I'm sure someone might like it. It's a great show, by the way. Anyone interested?

Same here. While I did want most of the games on that list, he offered it as a package deal only. So I asked all my freinds to see if they wanted any games on that list. Every game I didn't want was claimed and they still frequently play them.

It's a great show. You can pick up the first season for less than $20 these days. I got two copies somehow and figured someone else could use it. If you're interested, and no one else says anything here shortly, you can have it.

I know what you mean. Only games i haven't played that i got from this thread is the Lost Odyssey Jap edition Dougald sent me and Myst games that i got from AMN.

for shame! i got Genji for PS2 and Legacy of Kain for DC from this thread and i immediately bumped them to the top of my queue and have beaten them and passed them on to friends. and i even have a saved season going with the Royals in World Series Baseball 2K1 which i got from this thread!

they might not be the best games, but damn it, i'm going to make sure as many people as possible can enjoy them!

and as for the games i've given away, a lot of the recipients are now banned.. god only knows what happened to my babies ;_;
 
I think most people are just full of bitter tears. You aren't actually mad that they're collecting games that they won't play (as if it's some sort of videogame injustice that must be righted :lol ) you're all just angry that he scored big time. I'm sure you'd all be too righteous to accept that package, eh? Geniuses.

Actually...I think most people are upset about these games being shipped to collect dust.

If I gave someone a game on here and found out they weren't even playing it I'd ask them to ship it back so I could send it to the next person in line or at least give it to someone who actually wants to play it.

If I gave someone a game, it would be because I didn't want it anymore. They could use it as a fucking coaster for all I care. Perhaps... stop shipping games that you have a strange emotional attachment to? If you offer someone free shit, it makes a WHOLE LOT of sense to begrudge them for accepting it. It's human nature, I could probably convince one of you guys to pay for the shipping if I gave you a Nabob can full of my shit.

You're missing the title of the thread: "Free to a good home".

Meaning that it'll be enjoyed, not used as a coaster.

Indeed. However, in my defense, I was planning to buy a Jap 360 anyway. As for the Myst games, i haven't had time to mess with the Virtual XP mode of Win7. I got my hands full atm configuring CentOS D:

It's not really the fact that everyone thinks the games he got are collecting dust, while some other gaffers could have enjoyed those games... It's the fact that he got such a big score (plus the other small ones he's claimed int he thread) and hasn't really given anything back to the thread. One tree house of horror DVD and one game is a decent start, some of the games he didn't want would of been a great way to contribute to the thread that gave him so much in the first place. It's great that he gave the stuff to friends and family, but he would have much more respect if he contributed more to this thread than what he has so far.

That and he keeps making himself look like an ass by posting "OMG MISSED ANOTHER GOOD ON3!!1". Makes people think he's trying to claim more, even though he says it's just a way of saying it's a good giveaway (what a weird way to display it).

If anyone wants it, im offering up my PS2 copy of Half-Life.

I'm gonna follow HULEN's lead and not make this just a straight up giveaway.

Whoever wants it needs to post a video of a Half-Life (or half-life 2) machinima. Whichever one I like best gets the game.

Time Limit: 24 hours

US Only and I'll cover the shipping.

EDIT: the game is in fairly good condition and comes with the manual and everything. My camera is broken, and I haven't found my other one, but once I do I'll get a picture up.
