Sometimes I think there might be something wrong with me because I have tried so many times to like Horizon, and everytime I give it a shot, I end up stopping. Aloy annoys me for reasons I can't describe. I wish it did not. Maybe I should just stop trying and move on with my life. Tired of feeling "wrong" about it, though.

But God of War... man, I keep thinking about it. so good.

I still put twice the hours in Elden Ring but I ended up thinking it's below souls in my ranking.

Goty - god of war
Best direction - Elden Ring... although I prefer souls direction but it is a game that changed the most. More than gow 2018 to 2022.

In fact this was the argument/question I posed here months ago, even though people blindly trashed it. Depending on weighted importance of creativity vs technical competence, you could make a fantastic case for ER or Ragnarok.
